I have noticed after a few weeks that my mirror will randomly change screens and act as if something is touching the screen. It seems associated with times I open the window or hit some small vibrating bumps.
I’ve seen this as well around a week after install. I have also seen where WiFi randomly turns itself on. I checked the Wolfbox site and noticed that I wasn’t on the latest firmware. I updated and have yet to see this happen again but I am only 48hrs in.

Thankfully I haven't noticed this on mine. I've been running it since around Thanksgiving.

I also have not had this issue. Been running it for about the same time, a little after Thanksgiving.

Mine did this tonight on my way home from work. I was on my phone with my earpiece in (because the Bronco hands-free suuuuucks). I turned off the voice commands and didn’t notice it again but will leave it off and see if it returns. I’m a little surprised they don’t require you to say “Wolfbox” then the command, like Alexa does. If Alexa didn’t require me to say her name, I can only imagine the vulgar things she’d do. 🤣

Mine's also on the backup camera. Do yall get as bad glare from headlights?

Wish I could get it mounted up higher. But, soft top.

Can you add a film to it, maybe that’s polarized that can help with that glare?

This is the only reason I have yet to purchase this setup. I do like it for day driving, but would mount at the spare wheel and haven’t seen pics during rain and this is sort of bad for nighttime glare, but still not as bad as I thought it would be.

Let me know how this goes. Seems weird an update would fix it but if it does I’d love to know!

The night time glare hasn’t bothered me at all. It’s still much better overall visibility than I’m used to with the spare and now traction boards on the back. And maybe only slightly worse than a “normal” car rear view at night if not the same.

Mine is en route and expected to arrive tomorrow. I didn't realize I'd have to purchase a bunch of extra stuff sadly but I want a clean installation and want to do it once, correctly.

Anyway...I have a pretty serious tint on the back window and I think I'd prefer to mount it inside instead of outside behind the rear wheel. It's a Raptor so those wheels are f*cking heavy. Does anyone else run the rear camera inside and have tint? Does it affect the brightness of the image at night making it unusable?

I have installed 2 of these systems, 1 in my wifes 2024 Kona and the other in my 2024 Bronco Raptor. The Kona has is installed inside and my Bronco Raptor I mounted it right above the factory rear camera on the spare tire. The outside camera image is much better IMO. You get a much wider cleaner view of whats behind you. mounted inside you loss alot of view. I would only mount it as far outside as possible for the best quality image.
You will want an extension cable to reach the rear tire. If you remove the larger plastic trim piece on the tailgate you will see a rubber grommet, take a small razor knife and put a small slice in it just enough to fit the extension cable through to make the connection. You will also remove the smaller/upper trim piece to run the rear camera cable. Thats where I started my extension cable and finished it outside the Bronco. I used outdoor velcro tape to mount the rear camera right above the factory camera if I ever needed to remove or replace it. Trust me, do it right the first time, mount it outside with a 6' foot extension cable from amazon, it was like $5 bucks

Ok good to know. Assuming Wolfbox makes the extension? Loading up my shopping cart with the little bits now.

How did you mount the camera outside? What did you use to secure it ? I have my camera inside behind the molle, it does not bother me, but honestly I did not consider mounting it to the back-up camera stalk. I have a turn off-road mount, there are some place to put it if I extend it.

They sell a polarized filter for the front camera. But reviews say it doesn’t fit that great and can be seen in the corners of videos. That filter won’t fit o the rear camera.
The anti glare film isn’t made for the lens side. And polarization filter wouldn’t work with headlights most likely. Not to mention there are none that’ll fit it.
rain can be an issue as the water hits the lens directly. I’ll get a picture next time it rains.
meanwhile, some driving away from the sunset pics.

Sorry if I'm misunderstanding. Are you looking for film for the rear view mirror or the actual camera lens?

I used the double-sided tape with the red film on it that came with the kit to mount the camera to the top of my third brake light. I prepped the camera and light with some alcohol, attached it and held it somewhat tightly in place with a woodworking clamp for about 30 minutes.
