Hello,

I have a capable bumper that is hooked up for flat towing. The adapters are welded into where the front D rings used to be. In hindsight, I should have gotten an aftermarket bumper that could accommodate a winch and the flat towing set up, but it already cost me thousands to set it up for towing and I don’t have the means to get a new bumper, and pay for flat towing installation again. Anyway, I digress. Are there any winch mounts compatible with my set up, or am I SOL? Photo attached for reference. Thanks in advance.

You would have to custom fabricate one. Looks easier than the D hooks that were there to attach on.

I had a 12k rc hidden bumper winch installed, on my 22 wildtrak non modular bumper, think it would work with your tow system. I think you can see the hidden winch under the stock bumper. Hope this helps

The hidden winch kits maybe your best option. There is a hidden rear winch too, the muffler would need to be changed.

You still have options.

I would recommend the RC Hidden if you have the 2.3 anyway. Installation is more challenging with the 2.7. Mine currently has an aftermarket bumper and different tow sxet up, but it should work for you.

I loved the idea of the hidden winch. Unfortunately that would leave my winch in the elements. I don't care how sealed a winch is, after a few years of being exposed to the harsh salt roads, it would have issues. Hence, one of the primary reasons for it to be removable. Yes, it's a hassle. It's a pain to store. But at least it will last.

I see you're from Wisconsin you have a different reality than I. I had a Ramsey I bought in 1984 and ran as a hidden mount until the early 90's then as a bumper mount until I sold it with my Rubicon in 2021, worked every time!

I very much agree! If you can install it permanently that is great. It just didn't fit my use.
