Hey everyone,
First I'm posting on behalf of my husband who can't figure out an online forum but can problem solve a way out of just about anything...

We just got a 2024 4-door Black Diamond in Hot Pepper Red (including that because yes, I'm a girl and yes I bought it for that color) and I’m wanting to get it set up to flat tow behind our Allegro Bus.

The Bronco came with a WARN XD9000 winch already installed on what appears to be a frame-mounted aftermarket winch tray/bracket setup. We noticed the mount has matching holes/tabs on both sides that look like they may have been designed for recovery points or possibly tow attachments.

Before he does anything questionable, I wanted to ask anyone more experienced than us:

1. Does anyone recognize this winch tray/mount manufacturer? If not, can someone put us in the right direction on the easiest way to find the information...
2. Are these tabs/recovery points potentially usable for a flat tow setup?
3. Has anyone adapted a Blue Ox or Roadmaster setup to something similar?
4. Is there an easy way to verify whether the tray is truly tied into the frame horns and tow rated?

We are not trying to shortcut this and because of that I need to figure out what exactly we have. Is what I have usable for flat tow or do we need to start over with a baseplate? There has to be a way to incorporate flat towing with this setup, but if not, I'll have it torn down, but I really like how it looks. Will I ever actually use the winch, probably not...but my husband might....

Appreciate any help or identification info.

I don't have direct experience to answer your question, but: Many folks use Ford OEM and aftermarket bumper shackle mounts to flat tow. Assuming the welds are good and you have the frame horn reinforcements I'd say your good as far as strength. One concern I have from the photos is you may not have enough room for adequate vertical movement of the bar before it hits the winch tray
