Wheel hitting UCA?

So I just noticed this issue today:

This is on a 23 non-SAS Badlands with SAS takeoffs and 6112 kit with the front circlips on the top groove (#6?) No other suspension mods.

Looks like the inner wheel must be banging the UCA. Passenger side has no marks/dents, just the drivers side.

What should I do to correct this?

Are you sure that was caused by the wheel hitting it? Who put the 6112’s on?

This is strange...tons of people have this set up w/o issue. Looks like hammer marks to me. Are you hearing any grinding?

That top clip setting is more than 2", right? You'll need new UCAs or lower the clip setting.

Edit: Seeing @Ducati1098 response, it is possible the nips were the result of the installer taking a few whacks.

No I am not sure at all just a guess. A local tire shop put the 6112 kit on and did the alignment.

Tire can be seen in 3rd photo, plenty of clearance. So somebody removing upper ball joint pounded on the wrong half of the ball joint with a BFH?

There are several running 6100's & 6112 with factory UCA's so I don't think that is the issue. Tech said he had no issue with alignment so from what I understand that is the only reason to add aftermarket UCA's. Plus I think if the wheel is causing that it would probably hit aftermarket UCA's too.

Looks to me like someone took a really big hammer to knock the wrong UCA loose when installing the 6112's. If the wheel was hitting you'd feel it and it would be a rotational scuff, not a divot.

That is why I added the "EDIT" comment. I think everyone has it right that the install was done with judicial use of a hammer causing the nips.

Ok that makes sense. I am not sure why I never noticed those marks before now. I will eventually be going with aftermarket UCA's so probably not a big deal at this point.

I just wouldn’t ever use the installer again. Maybe look everything over good for more hammer marks. And look close at your cv boots, especially inners.
