Previous to the Bronco my DD was a 2012 BMW X5 that had over 110K miles one it. For all the negativity that BMW gets, it was one of the most reliable vehicles I have owned. The A/C compressor took a crap on it at 100K miles, but that was the biggest issue I had with it.FWIW, BMW is consistently rated right behind Lexus in reliability these days for luxury brands.
Was not the case 5 to 10 years ago, but they seem to be doing something right.
JLR, Mercedes and Audi all seem to be having issues though.
It was a thousand times more reliable than a 2010 F150 we had with similar miles when we got rid of that truck. Thank God I had an extended warranty on that one otherwise it would've bankrupted me. No exaggeration.
