Tire pressure , off-roading. Stock 35.

whats the lowest one should run the tire pressure?
dont want to risk one coming off on the trail.

Ford says 25, 20 is probably fine, I've gone down to 12 and not had issues (regularly at 15psi), however I would say stay at 20-25psi if you don't know what you're doing. There are other issues like sidewall folding that can cause other problems. Most of it is for comfort, the real contact patch improvements are below 12psi anyway.

Edit: I did I have an issue (sorry!) below 15psi, I folded the sidewall on a sharp step and it cut a golf ball size whole in the sidewall. That was the GY M/T's, which are soft Load Cs.

Just to reinforce what @userdude said, I regularly went to 20psi, occasionally a bit below (18ish) before I replaced them. They are too 'light duty' for anything below that unless your pretty experienced. I would disagree slightly and say that contact patch/traction improvement is significant at 20ish compared to highway pressure (though not world changing or anything).

I would agree there is improvement above 12psi, but you get that with a little; the difference between 20-25psi and 12psi isn't that great, and if you really need contact patch (real rock crawling), you're going lower than 12psi. So most of that benefit (12-20psi) is for comfort, which for rock gardens can be a real thing but also could cut a sidewall etc.

I have my deflaters set to 17 PSI. I run all day at 17 with no problems over all types of ground.
If I was in soft sand I would need to go lower.

How much weight are you carrying? If you have a fully loaded rig, you should err on the side of caution.

20-25 is a good safe range for most.

I am just getting an idea as I have no clue what would be advisable for this setup.

When I was in Moab I ran them at 20 PSI and that was a good pressure over rocks. I have the KO2's which have a better sidewall than the Goodyear MT's. Whenever I am on a beach I usually run them about 18 PSI and that seems to be the right pressure to avoid getting stuck.

Well I’ve run the stock Goodyear Sasquatch tires at full pressure in relatively soft sand (st. Augustine) with zero problems. I guess u have to adjust based on the environment. I’d probably air down for deeper sand like in NC. Rock crawling is a whole different thing compared to sand
