I have new tires arriving today and want to know a good tire pressure for them. I have a 2023 4DR Black Diamond with 2.7 and I am getting Falken Wildpeak R/T 35X11.5R17.

Looking at the specs from Ford, my Bronco has a Curb Weight Front of 2,762 lbs a rear of 2,063 lbs. I have added a winch 83lbs and an aftermarket bumper that is about 59lbs heavier than the capable it came with. That puts me around 2904 front and 2063 rear.

Falken's tire pressure sheet has my size at 50 PSI (2,910lbs), and 30psi (2,085lbs). That tire is rated for a max of 50PSI cold.

Assuming I have this correct, would I really want to run 50 front 30 rear?

Most run both front and rear in the low-mid 30s on any brand/size. I'm running 33psi front and back. 50psi up front will probably rattle your teeth. What load range are the Falkens...C, D or E?

50psi is the max pressure for a C rating, I wouldn't get near that.

The safe answer is start at 35, then adjust as needed. As @PWillette mentioned - most tires for light vehicles are going to be in that range - Bronco included.

The real answer is to chalk test your tires, and see what pressure has the best contact patch. Most of us have found it's in the low-mid 30psi range for most tires out there.

I run my Mickeys at about 31-32psi, and there is a noticeable change in stiffness over 35 psi (these are D-rated tires) - but it has resulted a small loss of MPG from the standard 35 psi

I've been running the stock Grabbers at 40 this whole time. 50 does seem a bit crazy, particularly as it is at the top of the rating.

keep in mind that weight rating is for each tire at 50 PSI. They will split the load to roughly 1450 pounds each. Anything over 30 PSI would be plenty.

Order large side walk chalk. Rub some on your front and rear tire. Drive straight for 50 feet or so and see what the chalk says. If it’s rubbed off in the center but not on the outside they’re overinflated, Vise Versa under inflated if it’s worn evenly your at the proper PSI. My 37s are at 25-27 psi.

I've been told that you just need one of these to be sure you're at 100% full.

This. There's a great YouTube where a guy shows how to do it.

37 to 42lbs depending on the season if you want a long tire life. These are my 285/75R18 Falken AT3 with 60k miles on them off my F150. I find that a slightly higher pressure gets me a bit better tire life and better fuel economy. These also have an Iowa winter at 20psi on them.

Those pressures may work for your F-150, but running 37 psi on my Bronco wore the centers of my tires badly. Ford recommends 39, but that's definitely way too high and severely shortened the life of my tires. That is fine since I want to get rid of the GYs anyway, but I won't be running anywhere near that high on new tires.

And then use Forscan to reset TPMS warning level?

Yep.

Side note - i wish there was a way to to tell the TPMS warning system not to warn me unless ONE tire was more than 8-10 PSI different than the rest.. if all 4 are at 12 PSI then there’s a 100% chance I did that on purpose and don’t want a warning. If ONE tire is at 12 psi and the rest at 30 then its likely a leak
