Except for maybe the Heritage Limited.....One can agree/disagree on the fair market value. I don't think a single data point on BaT will determine the FMV.
What people shouldn't try and equivocate what the Stroppe is compared to their own Bronco. There is no 2-dr HOSS 3.0 Sasquatch 2.7L Bronco with front stabilizer bar disconnect built before.
Maybe not, but it doesn't justify over $20k more than what I paid for mine, considering I can buy all of that equipment, install and program all of it to work, for considerably less, AFTER the fact. One can agree/disagree on the fair market value. For what a Heritage Limited had over my BD, the roughly $11k MSRP price difference made sense. but a $20k difference in MSRP? Seems pretty steep for a flashy paint job.Except for maybe the Heritage Limited.....
So, I just referenced the 2023 Dealer Order Guide and 2024 Dealer Order Guide. Nowhere does it emphasize that the 2023 or 2024 2-dr Heritage Limited Editions receive the the HOSS 3.0 with FOX™ Internal Bypass Dampers. The DOG emphasizes that they (HLEs) received the Bilstein shocks. The HOSS 3.0 steering rack was made available to the Sasquatch package.Except for maybe the Heritage Limited.....
Yea... I forget about the shocks.... and the 23s only got the Hoss 2 rack... 24s got the Hoss 3 rack... I still have the Hoss 2 coils and shocks sitting in a box.... I guess the rack as well.... But difference in MSRP was only about 4k.... Yes I paid way too much for the limited. But I am not trying to be in a contest for getting the best "deal".... I lose that contest before it even starts. But I did get what I wanted.... And then changed a whole bunch of things LOL!So, I just referenced the 2023 Dealer Order Guide and 2024 Dealer Order Guide. I made that initial comment on this thread without consulting the DOGs. I had to refresh my own memory.Yea... Yep, don't much care for flippers myselfI hope it sells for under sticker price and the winner gets a good deal
It was funny... Yesterday I passed through a dealership and they had a Stroppe out front. I stopped to look and a salesman tried to convince me that the Stroppe was such a step up from what I had..... So... I started explaining the differences between mine and the Stroppe and then what I had changed in mine... Which happens to be everything that is different between the Stroppe on mine plus a few other things that they share..... He then said it appears you know a little bit about these. I confirmed that I have taken an interest. LOL...I made that initial comment on this thread without consulting the DOGs. I had to refresh my own memory.
I'm not discounting what others have done or are capable of doing to their Bronco. Certainly, there is only one Boulder Edition. As is there is only one U14 6G like Allan's.
But my assertions stands, there has never been a 2-dr HOSS 3.0 Sasquatch 2.7L Bronco with front stabilizer bar disconnect built by Ford.
People can like/dislike the paint scheme. But it doesn't change the fact that paint is expensive.
This was really the point I was making - this auction on BAT doesn't really make any sense when there's so many that can be had below MSRP already. I mean maybe this dealer is trying to drum up business and get people in the door, but the ad doesn't really make this thing scream 'OH I GOTTA HAVE IT!' and make me want to spend more than MSRP on it.As others have said, the auction doesn't really make sense. Why would the dealer sell at a loss and why would the buyer pay a premium (over what can be had at a dealer now and the BAT commission) with so many out there and more coming. I found one in stock for over 7k off of sticker and I pick it up first of the week. Perhaps I should list it on BAT...
Minor nitpick, it seems more pronounced under showroom lighting than I've seen in other pictures outside, but the decision to use different whites is odd. At it's base color, it is oxford white. Using the frozen arctic white for the grill makes the contrast a bit more pronounced.Well on a personal note, was at my dealer this am and they had one sitting proudly in the showroom center stage.
