Just left the dealership and they had a Stroppe in the showroom...

Eye catching = 1000%
The "red" is Orange no ifs ands or buts
The "Bronco" on the side is off center and looks misapplied.
The matte black I like, the dealer said its paint but I wasn't there to argue.
I totally agree with another poster who said it's really funny looking IF you don't understand the heritage behind it.
DEFINITELY should have got the 3.0 and even the manual option
PPF on the rear flares would be a must have...when I detail my BL I notice they get shit with on and off road debris...those bad boys will get pimpled on the drive home from the dealer 1000%
Here in Midwest it just looks like the Auburn edition again if you dont know you dont know
Are all dealers including a Bronco e-bike with purchase?

All in all with the cash I'd be driving it right now!

You got me there...and the color isn't a deal breaker for me but a more red would have been insane in my eyes.

Color is the only deal breaker for me. I understand the whole heritage of it, just have no interest in multiple different colors personally. But I agree, if it had got the 3.0, it may have been able to persuade me

The orange has always been orange. Which is why it’s called code orange lol

Although cyber orange is also called “orange” and it’s definitely more yellow IMO
I absolutely refer to my cyber orange rig as yellow to 99% of people.

It's a nice yellow, but yeah, it's definitely not an orange haha.

For me, it’s the black tailgate. Guys who have made their own where the tailgate matches the sides look so much better to me.

This is clearly the model to pick if you really want to broadcast, "Hey, look at me! This is the kind of money I have to spend."

Code Orange is the modern name for Poppy Red, which is the color name on the originals. Its best described as U-haul orange...

I wasn't aware that colorblindness at Ford was generational, this explains alot.

While I am almost /always/ an advocate for manual over auto, in the case of the stroppe I do not agree. Someone will correct me if I am wrong, but the original Baja Broncos were autos I believe, and if so, an auto is the correct transmission in this case. Maybe @EvilJim1971 has input.

Yup, at first that was the only way you could get an auto with power steering.

There were a few exceptions, but generally yes.

Stroppe had adapters made for the automatic transmission and the transfer case. The first two pics are from my 1971 Stroppe. In 1973 Ford had produced the Bronco with automatics themselves. Looks somewhat similar, without the STROPPE in the casting. The third pic is from my 73 Stroppe.
