What dealers in Los Angeles/San Diego area have you had the best experience with and gotten a good deal? What dealers should I be cautious of?

Have been looking to buy a Badlands/Sasquatch with high/lux for a while and rented one in Sedona and made me want it even more

For what it's worth, Aaron Ford Escondido was going to get me a pretty smoking deal on a 2024 before I ended up being able to match it locally in Arizona. Never set foot in there, just worked over the phone/text, but no complaints.

If you don't know how to buy a car, then nobody is a good dealer. They can see a goober 5 miles away, and turn on the big flashing neon signs. That is why they are called DEALERS, and not automotive charities.

Your best deal is only going to happen if you know your numbers before you show up, and have your financing pre-approved. How else will you know if you really did get a good deal? Because they said you did?

Remember to check if your balls are still there before you sign the paperwork.

If you're not in a rush sign up for one of the clubs that offer X-Plan participation. In most cases you'll need three months of membership prior to qualifying for the plan, but once you have it you'll be eligible for the X-Plan price on most Broncos.

Some dealers have been able to beat X-Plan pricing, especially with the current inventory that is available on the lots. Kearny Mesa Ford (San Diego) was the go to source for many members here.

Here is a current breakdown (example) of x-plan pricing on a 2024 Badlands

NOT NOT NOT El Cajon Ford. These mofo's were one of THE worst offenders with ludicrous ADMs during the shortages. They must be made to pay a price by avoiding them at all cost till eternity. Kearny Mesa Ford was reasonable - they did have ADMs but they were not outrageous and they charged MSRP on special orders. I am currently using them to servixe my Bronco.

And for the love of God, don't get one with a sagtop

I actually do all my deals before I step in the door but want to avoid shitty dealers in general. asking for advice from people who have actually bought Broncos doesn’t make me a goober it means I’m doing my homework. Not every dealer is going to be willing to give a good deal.

I purchased two Broncos from Kearny Mesa Ford and was very satisfied with both experiences. Had two July 2020 reservations and both my 2022 BL SAS Lux and 2024 Heritage two-doors were purchased for msrp and no adm. It was a very straightforward and smooth process. Eric Bunch is the internet sales director and was my main contact; salesmen (Saul, Ernie) were also excellent. Paulina Hodges was an outstanding source for any general questions.

Eric Bunch and his Team were awesome for my Bronco order and purchase. They honored X Plan on their own even after Ford reneged on it.

Another vote for Kearny Mesa Ford. I didn't get my Bronco there but I had a very good experience buying my Focus a few years ago through their internet sales team. Everything was professional and well done.

Stay away from Star Ford in Glendale.

Thanks everyone for your help, Kearny Ford was very straight up with pricing after a little negotiation but ended up going with autonation Valencia. Got just under 9k off msrp on a loaded Badlands. Kearny was right about 7k
