Thanks @bendover , super helpful context especially since dunes and high speeds aren't in my repertoire. My max speed on more open desert trails is usually 35-40mph. Plus the negligible change in road manners is nice to know since that was another motivator, although I don't find the stock...
Really appreciate everyone for sharing their experiences so far.
Just sharing a data point for installation estimates since there's a good chance I'll end up with the HOSS 3.0 upgrade on my 2022 Badsquatch:
Here in San Diego, I'm getting dealer labor estimates of $1800-$2000 for installation...
Thanks for the response, sounds like this will be my next upgrade and the installation price you paid is what I was guestimating too.
Looking forward to hearing what ride reviews will be like off road in addition to the washboard you mentioned, but on-road sounds like a handling improvement.
Wow...That’s a fantastic deal for the 6100 parts! Would you be willing to share where you were able to find them at that price?
More importantly, how’s the ride and handling vs the stock SAS Bilsteins so far? I’ve been thinking about upgrading on my 4 door setup.
Thanks!
I’ll echo and third the above for Kearny Mesa Ford
😎Eric Bunch and his Team were awesome for my Bronco order and purchase. They honored X Plan on their own even after Ford reneged on it.
Ford to recall 90,736 vehicles over engine valve issue, US regulators say
Looks like the defective valves that gave many issues here are an official recall now:
"Ford (F)will recall 90,736 vehicles as engine intake valves in the vehicles may break while driving, the National Highway Traffic...
Without picking apart individual option prices too much, it looks like certain colors are extra cost now.
Cactus Gray, Velocity Blue, Race Red, Eruption Green: $295
Hot Pepper Red: $495
Overall, a loaded 2024 Badlands went up ~$1400 or so before the Job 2 increases. I sense incentives will be...
100% agree with MSRP and dealer ADMs being significant factors, along with interest rates. My 2022 Badlands is almost $7k more today.
Another factor not mentioned in the article is fleet sales (aka rentals). In CA and Hawaii, there are TONS of Wranglers 4XEs and Gladiators on the rental car...
It's not just you, I just checked mine with 4k miles and 4 months since my last oil change and it's also showing 0%, so guessing it's a glitch in the app too.
Thanks @BuckBronco and @AK SNO RIDER ! I've been experiencing this from almost new and have had two different friends in the passenger seat trying to troubleshoot, along with a dealer visit. In all three situations, we couldn't hear it with a passenger.
I'll have to take a look down below, but...
Yes, installation was definitely easier than plastic, had a by bubble I was able to push out to the edge. You'll still want to get it with one or two tries max though.
I mounted mine flush against the top edge of the screen and the very bottom edge has less than 1/8" gap, especially since the very edge of the screen is black and not illuminated.
If it helps, I never notice it as a screen protector and no passenger has ever mentioned it.
Bonus is price went...

I've installed this since day 2 of receiving my Bronco in April. Easy install, works with polarized sunglasses, and cleans easily. The corners are rounded, so a very small amount of the screen corners are exposed, maybe 1/8"+.
No complaints and would recommend.
Great pics and commentary, thanks for posting!
Following since I also won't remove the rear cap, but would like the possibility to stow Max Trax and Rotopax.
Very interested in hearing more about your experience with wind noise top on and off as well as overall utility.
I ordered my first Solo Mat, leveling pad, and pump in June and second of each this week (just delivered yesterday). So bummed I just missed out on this deal by a few days...
Bronco 6G - I highly recommend the Solo Mat with leveling mat. It's the most comfortable sleeping pad I've used camping...
