I have zero concerns as my other rides have OEM CF with no long term issues to date. They're all parked indoors with Xpel on them so not sure if I'm a good gauge.
Gl and gracias!
My other car has over 1K hp/tq bone stock and I still find the Braptor plenty peppy. Any more power and I'd be concerned about braking performance with the ATs.
I guess it's all YMMV. Enjoy!
It's Xpel protected from new everywhere including the carbon bits plus the windshield. I love all black vehicles. My fav.
I would've never bought the Braptor w/o the FP cf kit.
Thanks dude!
Howdy Braptorites,
I'm memorializing my '24 Braptor ownership experience having picked it up new ~6 months ago now at 6.5K miles. It's my first Ford product ever. Why now? The technical design along with its crazy fenders sold me. Raptor is the M/AMG/GTX of Ford so over time I've really...
My never will I understand are those that buy a $98K MSRP baja, daily drivable super truck and decide to mod out its 8-figure USD worth of Raptor R&D via chintzy aftermarket lifts w/ heavy af tires that clearly cannot handle anything but your local mall.

I weighed my BFGs on a calibrated electronic scale at a motorsport shop and they were spot on. Fact is, your tires are much heavier than stock. Inadequate off-road? lol
Enjoy!
Wrong. They're 18 lbs heavier per tire. Braptor engineers spec'ed the BFGs to be as light as possible while meeting their duty cycle targets.

Looks like a similarly priced $98K MSRP 2024 is at $88K MSRP 2025.
I bought my 2024 $98K MSRP at $81K new in Los Angeles, January 2025. Would buy again all day every day. It smokes everything in its class and does things no other SUV does with aplomb.
And I'm no Raptor fan boy. This is my...
Thanks for link. I've purchased from Reel out in Pomona and am aware that shops can build driveshafts.
I'm looking for a Raptor owner with the technical nous to take on the challenge to find a viable, long term option. I'm OK with the clunk until a vendor offers a clunk-free product.
Mine clunks, too. It sucks, but living with it for now as I don't trust the Ford dealership to fix anything. BTW, does the Raptor come with a front and rear driveshaft? If yes, how do we know it's only the rear?
There's a lot of garbage in the aftermarket. In Land Cruiser world (more for...
I got two laps solo, one with the instructor.
I have no idea what Moab's about, but I will say that I personally am not into rock crawling or trail driving. I dig the fast baja stuff so would have zero interest in spending my free time attending crowling or trail running school.
Many SUVs in...
