Plugging a tire - anything I should know?

So I’ve plugged / had a few tires plugged in my days, but never a 37”er that would potentially see the type of use that this guy will see. Anything different to consider?

Don't plug, at least not for the long term. Have a tire shop patch from the inside.

Plug it like any other and don't worry about it. I've never had a plug fail on something like that. It's a waste of time and money to remove the tire and patch from the inside.

The only trouble I've ever had from plugs are bfg steel radials. The belts eventually slipped. I assume corrosion.

I have plugged 37 before without any issues, lots of mileage on road and tons off Roading..We will be fine..

They even have some plugs now that are like a mushroom head or something... Should seal pretty good.

Haven't used one personally, but I've heard they hold up well.

I have used many plugs through the years with good results, but I did have one on a trailer tire that resulted in the belts separating ruining the tire. I was surprised but it was obvious, it did take some time to show up. I think I use plugs because they are convenient. Jim.
