Cheap plug set works great. I've plugged many tires and never had an issue. Have gone over 40K miles on plugs with no leaks.

Here’s a plug I did today. This is now a trail only tire. Have no idea what went in, but it was big. Three plugs wouldn’t go but two went in together with no problem. Holding air for now.

Thoughts on buying a kit from auto parts store. Never repaired tires myself. But very mechanically inclined. Looking more for opinions on these kits being safe good materials. I now have 2 screws. One on each vehicle. Figure I would save time and 50-70 bucks.
Look online and order a kit from Safety Seal.

Their plugs are self vulcanizing, and are better than any auto store crap.
