Reminds me of the time I went to academy sports. I parked my 370Z as far out as possible, next to an island, and this ass hat parked right next to me on purpose, I took a pic as I was walking back to the car.

This is what happened to me at Krogers at 7:15am! The putz patrol never takes a nap. ✊

Well this thread let me see what the Arc270 looks like on a TrailRax, so I'm pretty set on getting one now at some point :D Don't worry, I'll only use it in the middle of Anza Borrego

Homie with his outerbanks and dumbass canopy taking up two spots is a good example of why "we aren't friends. we just drive the same kind of car" is so popular.
The outrage industrial machine, complete with its altered imaging, has captured yet another soul.

Sigh. Always makes me think of this

Since we're talking about door dings now... A group of tourists slammed their door into the side of my Bronco at the top of Independence Pass, then went to park elsewhere. Left an absolute massive dent. When I got back, I had 3 different groups of people tell me what happened. The driver was a complete asshole trying his best to scurry away down the path while cussing me out. Sorry sucker, I'm completely comfortable at 12k feet in elevation & I was only energizing up... Eventually got enough info out of the group to get Hertz to replace the rear quarter panel. Just took 3 months of dealing with Hertz insurance claims... Yeah, people can be assholes.

Sounds like the kind of people that would take up two spots at the beach just to deploy an awning and post pictures on reddit.

I love the 20 feet of awning and the 6 inch area of shade.

Could this be fake or an optical illusion? The shadow on the ground, looks like at roughly mid-day, does not appear to be anywhere large enough for the perceived size of the awning.
Agree. Doesn’t look right

The only thing I saw wrong with this was dude drove to the beach to do work, which ok, cool, but was SITTING IN THE DAMN PARKING LOT instead of out on the beach.

That’s like driving up to Starbucks, plopping down in a chair and then pulling out your own thermos and saying “it’s cool. I got my own”. Or driving out to Moab to only enjoy the view from hotel.

As far as the parking job or his fancy umbrella or whatever else - I got no comments on any of that at all. Nor do I really care he was displacing anyone else wanting to park because he parked his fold up chair there. Sure, a kinda dick move, but whatever.

Just why head out to the beach just to sit on asphalt is beyond my reckoning though.

I bought my new 2010 pickup and about the second weekend 🤔 I went to Krogers early, like 7:15am. I parked in the back of the lot; there were like six cars in the whole lot.

I was inside for all of 10 minutes and as I was leaving, this big dude, like really big, goes heaving by me, all mouth breathing and everything. I walk out the door and sure enough, there's an '80's conversion van parked within a foot of my door, a little ding on my passenger side, and there were no other cars in the lot that weren't there before. So it was that dude.

So yeah, you can try and park on the dark of the moon, and you'll still come out with some jerkwad right on your door. (n) lol
My dad always said about big dudes: “you gonna pick them up or knock them down?”
Even tho I’m 6’4 (with twin 6’7 older brothers), I’ve never once let big get in the way of a good time.
big has always been relative, but crazy, now that’s a bit different. And we are both..
mayhaps that’s just an Indian thing.

I'm keeping an open mind. He probably set up before the crowds came. And then he moved. Even I would have been snarky with a Karen.

Let me guess:
He didn't work on the beach because there was no shade. 80 is really hot here.
Perhaps his Bronco had the hot spot, so he needed to be close to the Bronco for Internet access.
I think this beach is on the Sound and not the ocean (looks like the Cascades and not the Olympic mountains.) Hence, the beach is very rocky and close to the lot. The view would be no different.

And the Bronco had his espresso machine. You know how little those espresso cups are?! You gotta be close by.
