We can't force people to have them done but in the majority of the cases it's better to have it done as soon as possible rather than putting it off. We live in an overly litigious world so look at it in the terms of, can I get sued if I don't.....
Good point on the "I'll sue" mentality
I guess when parts are in it will get fixed, maybe by then it will start behaving badly lol

Interesting last Friday my camera went black with only the vehicle and the yellow lines show up then the second time I backed up it was on but the image was shaking really fast. Hasn’t happen since.

My last (and 2nd recall) was to put a clip on the seat belt webbing because without it I might not wear my seatbelt and get killed in a crash. Now I risk crashing if the back up camera doesn't work. How the heck did I survive
Y'all would shit if you saw all the other recalls they come out with every...single...day. Worst I've seen since the early '90s when I started in this business. I don't see how Ford can keep doing this and it not severely impacting their reputation and financial stability.
My 22 Bronco has had two recalls, both total nonsense like adding a clip to the seatbelt webbing. The only reason I brought it in is to stop the annoying mailers and alerts. Other vehicles are having recalls too! Wasn't there a recall recently to replace the entire engine because they are grinding themselves to bits? What Ford model was that, the F150? Oh wait, that was Toyota? And you guys loose your mind over an effing backup camera that will probably never fail anyway.

This has to be satire right?

a rear view camera that can go black and a seatbelt buckle is going to bankrupt ford?

He’s obviously referring to the massive list of recalls for all Ford/Lincoln models.

There have been at least 25 new recalls since Jan 1 this year. We have over 4,500 assigned to our dealership that has a town population of about 15K. So no, in the grand scheme a couple of recalls on the bronco isn't going to phase FMC in the least but TSBs probably outnumber recalls 5:1 so in the totality, warranty expenses (recalls included) are eating Ford's lunch and it doesn't appear to be slowing down or Ford doing anything different to stop the bleed. Well, I take that back, they are stealing from techs and dealers so that might be considered relief.

These really are great trucks - I hope Ford has had enough of being a recall loser & does their homework for the next big model refresh and works out the dumb issues.
