Thats nice. The rear brace and the cabin brace. That should stiffen up the chassis. May need to be on the list.

This will only reinforce the roll bar, not stiffen the chassis. The Bronc is body on frame, not a uni-body. The only way to stiffen the chassis is to put something on the chassis. doing things to the body does nothing for the chassis. A uni-body vehicle is a different story. A body mod will stiffen the chassis.


Examples:

Strut tower brace for a Bronco ( I hate the term strut tower but that is what Steeda calls it).

It goes from one side to the other of the top coilover seat on the frame.


A Bronco Sport on the other hand is a uni-body and as you can see those strut towers are connected to the body.

My previous early production '21 did not have the nutserts for the C-pillar brace. I believe that once Job 2 started for the 21s and the hardtop prep kit started being added, those frames had the needed nutserts to install this. I'm guessing that since not all 21s can install, they have to leave all of that year off of the labeling.

Maybe Ford should just offer a fixed metal conventional roof Bronco for those that need the strength or hate noise. All this extra hardware looks tacky and you loose the open air look and feel.

The real question here is if this will fit with aftermarket speaker pods. Anyone test it?

TO my knowledge MTI are the only one making pods that fit both the BRaptor and Bronco

I have them in my Raptor.

I have the hard top prep kit and no nutserts. My build week was the first week of the hard top prep kit.

They are talking about the braces, not the hardtop. I have a 21, I will take a look, but I also have an Armadillo hardtop coming next month. With it being aluminum, that may in itself help with a few things. I know that it helped save Broncobuster rump when he rolled over.

Frames should not articulate. Suspension should articulate.

Understood, I guess what I should have said, would it affect the flex? Lol, I do not know, I know what they are for, I have it on my GT500, and I have a diamond brace on my 68. Both stiffen the chassis for cornering. I guess, I do not understand why a strut brace would be used on a Bronco? It would seem if it was needed, the BRaptor would have one.
