Got that Steeda clutch assist spring installed today. A greasy pain to do and harder than the U-Tube video shows with all the grease to deal with but works much better with much better feel. I found out that the 2024 wheel sensors don't work on 2025 models. I now have to swap sensors over to the 2025 ones. No big deal and the low tire warning is very small and off to the bottom left so no big deal for now. I thought I was done with the spring. But now I see the Stroppe Edition with rock rails and Raptor boards. Next mission is a go to find these for my "Base" that I am going to "keep completely stock" ...... Need to keep the rocks from hitting the doors from the front wheels as I justify this to myself. Turned off the bong bong bong for the seatbelts for the drive through lanes finally. The end of 24mpg came with the removal of the base steelies and the Hundai spec tires it came with. 17 inch General ATX gets me only 20mpg now. Worth it. I feel shocks will be an evil temptress soon enough to take my piggy bank to slaughter.

I had an original reservation back in 2021 that I never acted on after all the delays then, so I waited. Just wanted the most basic 2 door manual. The manual was unobtainium in 2023, and then the base was gone for 2024. When the base came back in 2025, and the manual probably had all the bugs out by now, and there was a Marsh Gray that looked like my F-150 Leadfoot I thought, I put my order in. 9 months of waiting and a few delays it was finally built. The base models were to be built last in the yearly run. It arrived this weekend and I picked it up. Yea, looks kind of plain, but the color is cool, a bit of green, some bit of sparkle, and a strange kind of tan that looks good. I don't plan on changing a thing on it, not even tires. Put a Twisted Shifter white ball on the shifter, and probably do the Steeda clutch spring tomorrow and add a keypad, but then I am done.

The gages look a lot better in 2025, all one screen now. Where are the numbers for the needle? It just displays digits in the center.
The tach side of the gages shows what gear you are in in large digital. Wish I could turn that off. I know the gears.
The center screen is huge, even on the base. Has Apple car-play and vehicle hot spot which I was surprised to see on a base.
Headlights are LED and work really well. Those are even standard on the base mode.
This sucker is fast! I did not expect that.
For 2025 they added port injection along with the direct injection so intake valves should be staying clean.
With the stock pizza cutter tires and rims, it is really quiet. Dealer put wheel locks on. Why? I took them off. I will be the one who runs base wheels & tires.
2025 has cruise control which I think was not on the base before in 2021.
Hard top has sound deadener standard.
Dealer said I had the only 2025 stick shift sold. They don't stock any or order any for the lot. I did not drive one and took a chance.
getting 21mpg in all kinds of mixed driving. Has good highway stability which I was surprised being a short wheel base.
I guess it went up about $10,000 over the 2021 same model, but there are a lot of nice improvements since 2021 on the base model now.

So far, I like it a lot. I keep things to 400,000 miles. See if this one holds up to that over time. Wish it was aluminum like the F-150 to avoid rust later on.

The base is a gem imho. Great price point even with a few options since they have employee pricing and an extra $1k incentive. It checked all the boxes for me. After 31 days and just over 1k miles, I’m clicking off 19.7 mpg on mountain roads with the auto trans and 35s. 2.3 has great power and is geared correctly. Never labors on the inclines. Always seems to be in the correct gear. Very satisfied with my purchase.

I haven’t had it long enough to take it on a proper interstate highway. The roads we have here are all two lane and the occasional four lane but they are mountainous so constant change in elevation. That said, I am getting 19.7 miles per gallon. It has been very consistent with just over 1000 miles on the vehicle and that’s running regular 87 octane.

So far on my base 7 speed even after I changed the wheels and tires over to 17 inch with General Grabber's I am getting 22mpg. I was hitting 24 on the pizza cutters that ran really quiet and had good road manners and mileage kept creeping up. I bet on pizza cutters I could have edged out 26mpg if I was careful. I really only ordered this Bronco because I had to have a new stick shift again in my life after years of being denied one and each year some model left.

I'm sure you will find that your mileage will increase as you get some miles on the 2.3L. For what it's worth, I use 93 octane and there is a noticeable impact on performance and gas mileage in my case. I did a rear-seat delete and putting in a ProCal4 Ford tune on my 2.3L manual this weekend - looking forward to even more fun.

You're going to love that base Bronco.

It is plenty quick right out of the box. Mine will never see off road but probably just a lot of snow. I find the stock base shocks need to be a bit better. I have had Fox and Bilstein on F-150's each with their own characteristics, the Fox like a quad and the Bilstein for better road manners. Just need to stiffen it up just a bit for braking dive. I found out that the 2025's have different tire pressure monitors than the 2024's did. The 2025 use 433mhz now. The older ones are 315mhz? I wish Ford had a way to toggle between frequencies. I had the same problem when they changed frequencies on the F-150's in 2021 and had to get new sensors for wheels all over again. I put some new take off 2024 rims on my 2025 and it does not like them in the tire display. Being a manual, I wish it had a proper hand brake instead of the electric switch. Muscle memory is still strong from the past with a Thunderbird Turbo and Mustangs. I find myself putting it in 6th on occasion trying to back up for reverse. The base model is well equipped to the point I don't think I really need anything else option wise. Can't really tell it is a base anymore once I switched over to the black spoke wheels from a Black Diamond now. That is good and bad. The pizza cutters had their own charm and I will put bigger tires on them someday to use. I kind of liked them in that nobody runs them long and mine was unique. Especially after 2024 was a no Base year. No lockers on a Base but traction control should be just fine for an on road Bronco. I have yet to use locking rears on my F-150's. Lots of headroom and legroom for my 6-1 self. The flat up-rite windshield is quite the bug killer. I hope it is not the rock catcher also. So far I am extremely happy with my cheapy no options Bronco.

thats what i would expect to see. If the engine is designed to run on 87 that is what should be used higher octane gas will be a waste of money. When an engine system is designed it is optimized for a specific grade of fuel using the wrong fuel can potentially damage system components .

My mom just picked up a 25 base (auto). The improvements are great compared to my 22 base sas (manual). While I do like the bigger/faster infotainment screen and the digital cluster....holy cow its a lot of light in my eyes at night. The new 2.3 also has a nice rumble to it when you floor it.

While it is a mild improvement, its exact same price as my SAS base which is really disappointing.

I ran 35's on mine for a few years, currently I'm back to the stock wheels and rubber.
I am interested hear why you went back to stock.

I really like the way my base (2.3/auto) drives in stock form. Considering 255/85-16 (33”) but also 265/75-16 (32”) to keep the weight down.

I don’t mind an MPG hit, but don’t want it to feel like a slug or beat its self to death.

Running 265-70-17 as some take off Black Diamond wheels in place of my 16 inch steelies. Yes they are heavier by a bunch when I installed them but so far MPG has not taken much of a hit at all. They are load range C which is overkill on this light truck. They look better as black and go with my Marsh Gray better than silver wheels. The newer Mustangs have an electronic display that can mimic the old Fox body gages. I wish that was an option on the Bronco to have the old style display electronically. That would be cool. This new digital dash has no numbers for the speedometer needle, just a digital speed display with the needle following the circle. It could be better. Floored in 3rd gear, this thing scoots.

I saw a base 2 door with the pizza cutters and steelies at the local Walmart this past weekend. While I do love my base Sas 2 door, the base with the steelies looked really cool and really reminds of the Gen 1 Bronco. And with little tire drag, 7 speed manual it must be a hoot to drive. And this combo has the highest potential to get the best gas mileage of any new Gen Bronco. The almost straight up windshield is the culprit- bug magnet and really hurts the aerodynamics. I know it looks good- like the original but a little more slant might have really improved the MPG- especially on the 2.3. It could have been a commuter for me if it would have yielded 32 MPG. I love my Sas but it sits so much.

According to Ford, it’s designed to run premium which they state will increase HP to 300.

Congrats ! Was an original 2020 order so I was super excited when I finally got my 23’ Man Base Squatch
My manual is a bit “mechanical” sounding on idle but I’ve been told it’s normal.
Have plans to give it to my son when he’s 16. He was 8 when I got it. Have this picture from when it showed up on the lot. Can’t wait to pull it up when he gets the bronco
