Yep. I just looked and saw some baby moons. Too bad I sold my steelies... I'd try em out. I think they make steelies look cool (but then I'm from the 60s-70s).

Inside every Raptor is a base yearning to be set free.....
My dealer said he had some 17 inch new black steelies and tires from a Black Diamond I could have when they did the Roush upgrades to one. It is a slippery slope indeed with the mods. -- Ok I'm done again. I think... Is this how crack addicts start?
If you think you like the base tires/wheels You'll love those 265/70x17 Grabbers!

Dealer I’ve been talking to about a used 2021 OBX 2-door said I can still order a 2025 manual Base if I wanted one still. I’d probably go marsh gray and trailer towing package and that’s it as options.

I wish I had ordered just the keypad on my Marsh Gray so it would possibly match the color. I will put the keypad behind the fuel door now to keep it clean. It got too dark out to put my Steeda clutch spring in. It is supposed to be weaker so the feel of the clutch take up is easier to feel. I think it was maybe $20 and takes 5 minutes to put in. The stock shocks seem fine for now, but maybe some of those yeller ones might be better. Then I am done I swear... My only option was a dealer installed wheel lock kit to stop the steelie stealers. I took those off. My guess is someone would drop off a couple extra instead next to my truck to dispose of the steelies they had instead of taking mine. I know my dealer has a pile of them with tires from his bases he put other wheels on to jack prices a bit when they were impossible to get to justify the markups.

All it ever was for me was a 2dr manual. Got it in 22. Haven’t had any horrible issue with it. Had that noise with the transmission, but that was easily fixed. I don’t believe they have done much on the manufacture and design since then to address it.
My personal view is that with the stock wheels and tires it looks a bit top heavy. Might just be me.
Good Luck. Mine has been more fun than people should be allowed.

I noticed that every other trim level has a fender badge but not the 2025 base. I think since it was gone for a year it got pissed off. "Badges, we don't need no stinking badges!" kind of comes to mind. They got left behind and told they would be only born at the end of the production cycle for 2025. Base is like a Gen X, tough because they had to be to make it out of the factory at all.

The original base didn't have a badge either. I'll be removing the Big Bend sticker on mine when it warms up a bit more. I don't like those "badges" at all. I'll either go badgeless or add the classic style scroll (regardless of how some folks say it's over done)

All three pics look good, but the top and bottom pics look like one your wife might drive, whereas the middle one looks like it would get your wife pregnant if it had the chance.

non sasquatch base trims didn’t get any badging. Perfect time for a 1990s Bronco XL logo or a classic script.

I like the classic style scroll as well....better than the badges it has class badges are like the grammar school gold stars.

Dealer had some brand new take offs from a Black Diamond so I took all 5 for $500 cash. Last mod I swear.... The are the aluminum spoke wheels. I have some black steelies 17 inch ordered that I will put Blizzak snow tires on for the winter for ice.

That’s what I did to my 2023 base. Crazy deal for a set of wheels / tires!

The base is a gem imho. Great price point even with a few options since they have employee pricing and an extra $1k incentive. It checked all the boxes for me. After 31 days and just over 1k miles, I’m clicking off 19.7 mpg on mountain roads with the auto trans and 35s. 2.3 has great power and is geared correctly. Never labors on the inclines. Always seems to be in the correct gear. Very satisfied with my purchase.
