Reading modular I thought finally ,but can’t remove roof panels , oh boy , sure would love a tubular rack with rear basket similar to the one that’s stock on the last Fj cruiser and would allow the front to back bars to come off quickly to allow all 3 panels on a 4 door to come off , not rocket science here ,roof easily comes off , why not a rack that allows it , kinda why lots of people bought a modular roof bronco

To each their own, but this look is not my cup o' tea whatsoever. Way too bulky, busy and complex.

Awesome to see another manufacturer creating / offering another option in the market space. Two comments: 1) might have missed it mentioned here but want to know the weight of this rack. 2) would have preferred to have seen the rack’s width pushed outward to fall in line with the body width. Tucking the rack’s width inside the roofline, as designed, sacrifices surface area that could be used for mounting larger rooftop cases, boxes, solar panels, etc.

Ford Bronco Modular Roof Rack for 4-door, hard or soft top, Ford Bronco from RTR Vehicles! IMG_1484

on one hand it looks like your rack could handle more dynamic load.

On the other hand no dynamic load rating mentioned, looks like I’d give up my roam box and ability to remove panels, gain wind noise with the a pillar bars. Also more weight being steel.

what’s the upsell?

Does

“The RTR Bronco Roof Rack utilizes factory mounting locations to ensure rigidity and durability, due to this modular hard tops are not removable while the RTR Roof Rack is equipped.”

Mean all 3 sections of the hardtop, front, middle, and rear?
Doesn't look like there's enough space to get any of the panels out.

Whats with the bars on the windshield? It tie into the A Pillar mounts? Everglades edition and anyone with a snorkel wont fit, right?
Looks like they bolt on to the plastic in front of the windshield where the ditch lights would go.

I like the idea of it tying in down the front of the windshield… but idk how I feel about it bolting to plastic…

2-Door option in the works?

I'd also like to see some soft top pictures and some information on removability. I'd love to take it on and off routinely.

Based on the install instructions, it looks like you’ll need to unbolt and disassemble quite a bit to take it off in order to put the top down. Doesn’t seem practical.

It looks nice, but RTR is crazy with their pricing.. with the molle panels, you are in over $3,000?!... There are quite a few nice options for sub $2000 on the market, and allow for roof panel removal, soft top folding, etc

Wheres the $500+ markup found at?
