With the Trailrax, I figured out that if you leave the front wind deflector on and unscrew from the sides of the wind deflector, I can get the rest of the rack off in under 20 min. Getting it back on took slightly longer but it was still relatively easy since the hardest part was the wind...
I think the black accents made it look even better.
The Pakrax gives it a little character, better than having an all white hump at the back.
I'm willing to bet it'll look even better with the red Rotopax jugs on one side.
Can't decide what I want to see on the other yet.
One step at a time.
Although Trailrax has stated that their version is coming out later this year, I've been hearing that for 2 years so I understand if you can't wait.
This is the K9 Mount I used and the 2 tables I got were from GCI Outdoors.
I prefer having 2 square tables since I can use just 1 most of the...
Oh man, I've been dying to find a Defender style ladder. Care to share any details on this?
I saw in your other posts that you got your Waterport mounted up top! I did the same thing after months of contemplating. Getting everything to fit on a 2 Door has kept me up plenty of nights, and I...
There are actually two 25"Wx25L"x28"H tables in there, from GCI Outdoors.
I first got the K9 table mounts and spent the better part of 5 months looking for the perfect tables and settled with these. Very happy with them.
@TrailRax teased a similar table mount 2 years ago, and according to them...
Just a word of caution, as the dynamic load rating of the OEM roof rack is 110 lbs, and most roof top tents weigh more than that.
The MIC hardtops aren't that strong and having any weight bearing down on the roof isn't recommended.
I would take a look at the Trailrax and RTR roof racks and add...
I wrapped my whole 2D CG in matte stealth ppf and then added some matte black wrap for accents. I initially did it to protect the paint from pinstripes and rock chips, but it's more gratifying as I see more and more CG Broncos rolling around.
Here in SoCal, I see mostly AMB OW and IS. I see a...
I can't imagine the amount of bugs and stuff getting caught under this light bar during a summer cross country haul. Do these come with covers or are they SAE cert? It's illegal in CA to drive with an uncovered roof light bar, and although most won't pull you over for it, it certainly gives...
The only times I wish I had a 4 door are when I see a BRaptor, custom sub boxes or whenever I load my 2 door for a long trip. I'm at a point now where adding things to my inside tailgate table may affect how I can load my gear.
Awesome build. I used to run Focals with RF DVC subs powered by PPI...
This is actually very smart. I'm going to have to try it.
Has anyone figured out how to make the lights on the front of the side mirror caps act as blinkers?
If you don't have the oem AUX switches, you'll most likely have the retracting sunglass holder in it's place.
This isn't compatible with the mount, so you'd first have to purchase that part would originally hold the AUX switches. I can't imagine it costing too much. You'll need this part either...
This required a lot more work and $$$, which for me, was more than worth it.
I swapped my AUX switches for something more robust, the SwitchPros 9100.
I used this SDHQ mount to replace the AUX switches.
I also had all of the wiring "swapped" to more robust wiring, just in case.
I used quotes...
