I have a 2-door
OK, then I will say 1) 33s are fine, and 2) whatever you do, don't get anything stiffer than a "C" rating. (No "D" or "E"--or worse.) You'll notice a bumpier ride (not dramatically, but noticeably) while getting no benefit of stiffer tires for your use case.

That is not entirely true......such is the case with the 2.3 7MT, if it's geared wrong for the taller tires, it spends a LOT of time in boost on the highway, especially at over 70 MPH, and in a head wind, THUS using a LOT more gas (MPG goes way down)......IMO, its all about being correctly geared for the tire size, and I dont want to change gearing.
The problem is 6th gear is geared wrong even for factory size tires, especially out west were we have 75 and 80 mph speed limits which means traffic is doing 85-90.

I can use 6th in town, but even with the stock minivan tires on the base, I get better MPG in 5th on the freeway.

35x10.5 kendas on procomp coilovers with photo this time.

I would think you'd start running into clearance issues if you lower and go 35s unless you get some insane offset.

If you can make it work, and still get good suspension travel, That would actually be a win off road with a lower COG, as long as you can clear everything you need to... That is absolutely the goal when we build serious rock crawling buggys....

Oh wow. I imagine this setup reduces body roll as the expense of adding a bit of ride harshness? What are the fuel economy gains?

For comparison to other popular 315/70R17 tires: Goodyear lists the Territory MT as 34.41 outside diameter, Toyo lists both the AT III and the RT Trail as 34.4, Falken lists the A/T4W at 34.7 and BF Goodrich lists both the KO2 and KO3 as 34.4. All manufacturers list the RPM at 604 except the Falken at 602.
That's their claim but the Goodyears are definitely smaller and might not even measure 34". I have the KO2 37's and they aren't even 36" but the size/weight works for me. If the OP is looking to go with +30 offset wheels, then looking for a set of Sas takeoff wheels/tires that have sensors in them can probably save quite a bit of money. Just know that the 2025 Bronco TPMS sensors run a different frequency than the 21-24 so make sure you know what vehicle any tires/wheels/sensors came off of.

So.......the age old tire size dilemma.......did you go strictly LOOKS or did you choose LOGIC??

For my 2025 Base 7MT -

LOOKS tells me go with 315/70/17 on a +30 offset wheel (FP Everglades)
LOGIC tells me go with a 285/70/17 on a +55 offset wheel (BD steelies)

The 33" tire is LOGICALLY a better tire for a 4.46 geared 2.3 7MT
BUT the 35" tire LOOKS really good and I know I will give up not only MPG but acceleration as well.

What say you ?? 🤔
Split the difference. Get 285/75 R17 on the BD steelies. That gives you a 34 (33.9) inch tire with plenty of sidewall but should be less drag than the 315s.

What tires you running? Those are load D or E ??
That's a problem with that tire size, they are all HEAVY tires
