I own a 2 door, 2022 Outer Banks that has all stock equipment. It came with 32" tires. Does anyone know the largest size tire size that I can go with while keeping stock? I would like to go more aggressive without upgrading suspension. Thanks!

I could be wrong but I think a 33 is the biggest on stock suspension before the crash bars have to be removed. 35 might fit but unless it's lifted it may look awkward. Again, I may be totally wrong here lol

I have a OBX as well and I went with 17” wheels and BFG K02’s that are 315/70R17 which aren’t quite 35” - more like 34.5”. Crash bars removed. No lift or leveling and no rubbing issues this far. I first swapped to regular fenders (for aesthetic reasons) then needed the Sasquatch fenders due to a 0mm offset.

There are numerous threads on this question. Looks like many say 275/70r18 are the “sweet spot” for stock OBX with out removing crash bars and no lift. However I personally am not a tire/wheel expert and am not sure how the gearing will be effected going to that size in non sas OBX. Or the effect on fuel economy, but there appears to be many running 275/70 r18.
I myself have 2 dr non sas OBX and am running 275/65r18. Same height as stock 255/70r18 just wider and no rubbing issues at all even at full turn and articulation.

I went with 275/70R 18 on Fuel 18x9 rims +25 stock OBX no lift non Sas. W/ crash bars. I didn’t want to go bigger because the stock 3.73 gearing. I’m satisfied with the looks and performance, lost a little gas mileage.

Actually you mean same width just shorter..... if you are comparing 275/70/18 to a 275/65/18....

275 = width in mm.... 275/25.4= 10.8 inch width

65% x 275 = 178.75 x2 = 357.5mm / 25.4= 14" +18" = 32" height

70% x 275 = 192.5 x2 = 385mm / 25.4 = 15.15 +18 = 33" height

75% x 275 = 206.25 x2 = 412.5mm / 25.4 = 16.24 +18 = 34" height

SO....
P275/65/18 = 11" wide x 32" tall tire

P275/70/18 = 11" wide x 33" tall tire

P275/75/18 = 11" wide x 34" tall tire

No…..I was comparing stock tire size
255/70r18 vs 275/65r18.

Before I put Sasquatch wheels and tires on I was running 285/65r18 and I felt they fit great with no lift plus it filled the wheel well. Definitely made a big difference in looks from stock.

I went with 315/70/17 at +18. I have ONX as well and I’m really happy with the amount of poke.

Running 275/65 here as well. Should have come that way from the factory. Many more P rated tires in that size than the more popular 275/70 upgrade. People have gone larger on a stock obx but I think it looks funny without a lift.

On the stock OBX setup, I’ve seen 285/70R17s fit fine without rubbing, which gives a decent bump over your 32s. Some folks squeeze in 33s on stock wheels with no drama, but 35s usually need at least the crash bars pulled. I like checking sites like pickyourtires.com for comparisons and real-use notes so I know what I’m getting into before swapping sizes.
