But I do have something to compare them to. Side-by-side in the same vehicle, which is even better than comparing worn tires with new replacements. I would rate these no worse than any other AT tire I’ve had on RWD (even if part-time) vehicles, and certainly much worse than non-off-road tires like Cross Climate 2s.
But everyone rates them much worse than every other AT tire- you are one of the only persons currently alive who has said they are roughly equal to other AT tires. Even BFG said they attempted to fix the wet driving issue with the K03s...

I think a lot of KO2s “reputation” is from inexperienced drivers. I learned how easy it is to break tires loose in the wet with a RWD vehicle when I owned a pickup for the first time. Getting the Advanced Transfer Case in the Broncos was important to me, because I wanted it to be easy for drivers to manage in wet conditions.

I run two sets of tires regularly: both the KO2s and a set of Goodyears. I primarily use the KO2s for off-road trips, including driving to and from, but they will stay mounted if I have multiple trips planned close together. Both tires perform similarly in the wet despite the Goodyears I have been a more road-oriented AT tire. I just push 4A (and have told the other drivers to do the same), and never have an issue.
That's not it at all. It has absolutely nothing to do with inexperienced drivers. It's literally a known fact at this point in time that they are terrible on wet roads and in mud.

I'm starting to think that most K02s are garbage but every once in a while they make a decent batch that trickles out into the world and guys like you are lucky enough to get the good ones. Or the nore likely scenario is that some folks just like to troll people on internet forums...

What tire are you comparing them to?

What tire pressures are folks running in the KO2’s?
I ran 35 psi last winter with manual Badlands with 4A engaged and I don’t think I ever slipped a wheel.
More of a testament of the 4A transfer case than the BFG’s I guess.

How many miles on the tires?

Personally I think they suck right out of the box, but most folks seem to say there is a noticeable decline after 10k miles or so

So what would people recommend for a year round tire that is good in rain and rated for severe snow?, Off Road not needed. Am surprised with all the bad reviews on them in wet that they have snow rating? Figure since mine only have 200 miles on them maybe test them a bit and if I don't like switch.

I REALLY can’t help but laugh!!! I mean there’s one facet of Bronco buyers that say “the 4-cylinder SUCKS, NEED MORE POWER!!! Urrr, urr, urr!!!”. Another side says “the stock KO2s will kill you at any speed!!!” 🤣🤣🤣 THESE ARE HIGH Cg VEHICLES!!! Drive carefully!! If you want to go fast, get a Mustang!

It isn't about "going fast" it's about going safely at reasonably normal speeds. Nobody should have to crawl around at 30mph every time it rains for fear of spinning out and wrecking.

I've owned and continue to own quite a few high performance, RWD cars and tires are everything. They're the only little patch of rubber keeping you stuck to the road and alive. Some tires are better than others at certain things. Not sure why this is such a difficult concept for some people out there or why people get offended by that.

I have a go fast car, that is why I will be taking it easy in Bronco. But I have to say I'm pretty impressed with power and sound on this 2.3. Even more fun since I installed Pedalbox, but will be shutting that off on wet roads.

Just checked them all out and the Falken would seem to be best for me. I will probably only put around 2000-2500 miles on them a year. Since new maybe I will give the Ko2's a chance. If I dont like will try the Falken's. Tires are one of the most important part of a vehicle, Michelin PS4S have been my go to tire on all the high performance cars I have owned over the last 15 years.

I had them on my 2017 f150 and if the road was any degree of wet the truck was squirrely. Going around turns was hairy. The stock goodyears were fine and i also put geolanders on there and they were excellent.
Will not be using the ko2’s on my bronco. I have enough problems lol.

They're all excellent tires. I believe the falken is a bit heavier than the others, if that matters to you in any way.
