Interior Fan a/c & Heat

Hello, Is there a way to totally stop disengage the interior fan?
When my tops are off or windows open, there is no reason
to have the fans / air through the Bronco. In my Ranger,
I could turn the fan off completely.

Are you wanting to turn the AC/Heat off? You just push in on the temperature adjustment on the driver side and it will turn on/off. You can also turn it back on by turning the fan speed up.

Never paid attention, but is it the annoying Ford timed ventilation refresh kicking in or is it on all the time? If it’s on all the time then it’s broken.
Can’t wait for the 30 degree drives this winter with heat on and Ford kicks in the outside air to make sure I don’t suffocate.

You could always do this before fan starts and prevent it from moving. Just be careful on where you drill hole.

I think if climate system is turned “Off” the fan will not run.

Yeah, you have to turn the HVAC off to also turn the fan off. If HVAC is on, the fan will not shut off, it will only go down to level 1.

An update . I am a bloody idiot. On the front of the temp setting, driver side, there is a power
emblem. Upon pushing that in, the fan turned off.

The ex had a convertible Saab back in the day and it was annoying that when the top was down, the AC could NOT be turned on. It would be refreshing to have a little breeze when you come to a stop. Yeah, I'm the guy running down the road with the windows down, AC on full. lol

Took me weeks to discover this....drove me crazy, too. So NOT intuitive.

Yeppers….thats how to turn off the climate control system

Just to rub it in, you know us non-premium HVAC folks can set fan speed to zero.
