If you could, please give some off-road feedback after the change? I am probably headed this same direction to make trail speeds less jarring. Perhaps FOX is a better fit for me as I'm not looking for performance.

After debating different shocks for my build I went with the Bilstein 6100's (they also were on sale at Stage 3 Motorsports which helped). I am running a BDS puck style lift on my 2023 Badlands SAS. My tech installed the 6100's at the lowest "1" setting as that is what it appeared to say to do in the directions, put it on the ground and now I have a rake to the front and it is noticeably lower in the front, back might be a tad but the front is very noticeable. Measuring the rear from the ground vs. the front the front is almost 1.25" lower in the front where usually they were pretty level.

Attached is the new pic (pointed right) and an old pic I found (pointed left) The Before pic is without the 1/2" body lift, the new pic even has the 1/2" body lift on it.

I am going to have my tech redo the front and move the clip I think but has anyone experienced this on the 6100 with it sitting lower on the stock setting?

TIA,
Dave

I sorry I can’thelp with your lift issues, but what wheels are you running?
Thanks. Wheels are Vorsteinier Off-road VR-601's with zero offset. Also seen them called "VENOM RX" or something.

Hey everybody come look quick: this idiot meant to say “Murphy’s Law” 😏
I can't tell if you're joking or not? Cunningham's Law is a thing. No idea which one they meant, but referring to the wrong thing doesn't make you an idiot.

He was making a joke by using Cunningham's Law. No offense taken.

Just to update the post. Here is the stock sas shock next to the 6100. To get them equal length I am at the 4th clip, not "stock", going to see where it sits in a few but that should put it back to where it was before adding the shocks.

So, I don't know how others are getting an actual lift from these shocks unless I am unique because I am dealing with a lifted bronco and not a stock one.

I confused... are you trying to match the 6100s to your previous ride height that had a spacer lift?

If so, how much lift were the spacers advertised at?

No. I was just upgrading shocks, not removing the lift. Was just trying to match the 6100s to the factory height of the yellow Bilsteins that came off.

Did you remove the strut spacers?

I'll double check tonight, but I believe I went with two notches up (#3 position). It leveled my Sas Badlands when I installed the 6100's myself. From factory I was 3/4" low in the front compared to rear. I left my rears at position #1 and as mentioned went up two positions to #3 for a 0.6" lift. I am ever so slightly low in the front and I believe it has actually settled a bit since install. I should have gone with setting #4 and it would be perfect now.

Anyhow, something is weird. I assume when you say lift it was a spacer lift. How high was it and did they forget to put the spacers back in? When I measured my stock SAS shocks in the rear after taking them off it was almost identical to the length of the 6100's at clip position #1 with the factory spring. I didn't measure the fronts since I was compressing the spring two positions.
