There have been some sway bar failures. If it is under warranty have it checked if not get a code reader and see what it is.
The only way to clear that from the screen is to reset the DTC code. You can do that with a scanner that supports Ford extended codes... Also forscan can clear it...

Of course check what the code is too, it's most likely complaining about low hydraulic pressure in the disco assembly, if it is, look for leaks on the assembly.. unfortunately, the entire until is 'not serviceable' so a leak means replace the whole thing.
Thank you for the insight so if there is a leak in the system then the whole assembly needs to replaced?

Yeah it’s a single part. Expensive part but it zips right on so not a lot of labor needed.

Yup, Single sealed assembly as stated by @brkdncr, If it's NOT leaking, and you aren't seeing any thing to indicate a bad battery, then it's either a bad sensor in the assembly, or a wiring issue, and it'll need a pinpoint test to resolve it, which is in the factory service manual.

Seems like a bad battery can still cause issues even with the vehicle running. I think the BMS on the alternator causes just as many issues as it helps. If you get a big hit on the battery, and there's a ton of big electrical stuff besides just the starter, like Power Steering, Electric Brakes, Parking Brakes, cooling fans, etc... and the alternator is just doing it's "I'm gonna save on fuel and just trickle charge right now" you can still see big voltage drops... and a computer module someplace just craps all over itself from the dirty power.
💯
My Expedition was doing the craziest things when it needed a new battery.
TPMS faults, liftgate faults, catalytic converter errors, etc.

Yeah I'd for sure try charging the battery, along with inspecting the sway bar disconnect (might as well while it's charging). Low batteries do crazy things on newer vehicles, and any more you don't get more than 3 years out of them, unless you either drive it daily for long periods, keep it on a charger, or a combination of both. If it sits a lot or has a lot of short drives, your battery life may be shorter...far shorter.

Which reminds me, I need to get a tender for ours, since I got the new truck it hasn't been driven much.

I had that happen to me this year. My Bronco had 5K miles. Warranty repair they had to replace the sway bar disconnect. Take a look underneath your Bronco. Mine was leaking fluid. Similar to hydraulic fluid and probably is. Zero off roading and never used the feature. It's difficult to see because of the skid plate but you can see what look like hydraulic hoses. Didn't have the part in stock went without my Bronco for a week.

If you have access to an AutoZone or O'Reilly's parts store, they can run a quick OBD scan that might help track it down. It's free ...
I'd always follow-up with Warranty Service at the dealer too, if you're still covered. Not a fan of dealer service - but warranty is still warranty.

Sway bar disconnect is one of those features I am glad my bronco does not have. I like the feature, but I dislike it being tied into the computer as much as it is.

I love mine, I just need the ability to use it anytime, not when the computer is okay with it. It is way down the list of "to do"

Where there’s a will there’s a way! You already know how to wire it.
You might crawl under it and disconnect the sway bar and check for moisture or corrosion on the terminals. That is a known issue. If there is moisture without corrosion, blow the connector out and put some electrical grease in the female terminals and plug it back in.

Think you may have quoted the wrong post.

I’ve fought the random sta-bar failures since my ‘21 Badlands was new. Dealership finally tracked it down to a short in the ABS control module. After waiting 2 months the part is finally in, next week to swap it out.

100%. Even when not needing max articulation, like when driving down a rough fire road or desert wash, the improvement in ride and handling with the front sta-bar disconnected is very noticeable. I love it. But like many things (spot lights, camera views, etc) it has annoying speed and mode restrictions because it has to be safe for the idiots out there.

I seem to recall being told that it can be added as an aftermarket feature and it's not regulated by the computer when done that way. Is there any truth to that?
