This was my first mod to my Bronco. Already installed them on my wife's Bronco. I found out about these at a car show with my Mustang when the wind lifted my hood out from the prop rod. The rod dropped but I caught the hood. It was always in the way during service. I understand the height issue...
Didn't know they lowered the volume. I have a '24 and my wife has a '23 Bronco. Talking to her on the phone I can tell when she is making a turn. Is there a part number for the new style?
Will stick with an AGM battery when it comes time to replace. Bought an AGM battery for my truck from NAPA, time will tell if this was a poor choice. The lead acid battery was leaking which required me to restore/fix the battery clamp for the truck. Big fan of Rain-X.
I did Gunstock twice, once when my wife bought her Bronco then when I bought mine. Stayed at a hotel the first time then Airbnb the second time. Airbnb was cheaper and nicer we had a whole house to ourselves, close to everything. Minutes from Gunstock.
I have State Farm Insurance and when I needed a new windshield for my Audi she asked me to avoid Safelight. Didn't give a reason but I used an independent shop near my house. Maybe they overcharge insurance companies.
If you are looking for a lower budget version of adding side steps Mabett makes a set also. Which is what I put on my Bronco for my disabled dog. I place the folding dog stairs on the side step.
Glad to see the LEGO build went well. I bought one a few months ago and have not put mine together yet. The LEGO stores are bad places for me. I have kits that are no longer in production. Hoping that "Light My Brick" comes out with a kit for the Bronco. No TSB's from LEGO and if you are missing...
Where did you obtain the fender emblems? All the ones I found like those say Sport in the red section unless the picture does not provide that level of detail. I like it better than my fender sticker.
I had that happen to me this year. My Bronco had 5K miles. Warranty repair they had to replace the sway bar disconnect. Take a look underneath your Bronco. Mine was leaking fluid. Similar to hydraulic fluid and probably is. Zero off roading and never used the feature. It's difficult to see...
I had a plastic engine cover w/ insulation under it on a Audi I owned. The insulation was for noise. It trapped too much heat causing the wire insulation for the coil packs deteriorate and short out. I had to splice in a new harness. So say no to engine covers. Your hood is closed how would...
wjtinfwb is correct on his post. I spend time on COPART and talking to my insurance agent. Odd that totaling a vehicle is more cost effective than fixing thus increasing rates for all.
I also went with the Viofo A119 mini 2 after watching a bunch of YouTube reviews. My wife saw how great the video capture was she bought one for her Bronco. We powered them with a Dongar dashcam power adaptor purchased on Amazon. It pulls power from the rearview mirror. The camera turns on when...
Sway bar disconnect because it's in the shop being replaced with only 5K miles and I bought it this year. I found it leaking in my driveway. The fluid looks and feels like radiator fluid. I couldn't give it the sniff test because I can't smell very well anymore.
