Had some funny noises and vibrations coming thru my driveline at higher speeds. Almost like a metal on metal. Wound up pulling my driveshaft out and saw the one cv took a
. Appears some of the ball bearings inside the diff side decided they didn’t want to be in the cage anymore. Was never a fan of these style shafts. Plus they’re pretty expensive from ford. Luckily there’s a pretty good shop about an hour and a half south of me. 2 days later got this unit. Came with all the hardware. Truck feels a little snappier but that could be in my head. Stoked that down the road they’re just regular old universal joints and the whole shaft isn’t a throw away. May see what they offer for a front shaft.
