I believe so. You’d also be able to compare your Dyno Jet numbers with others out there. I know PBD, Hennessy, ZFG Racing all have Bronco 2.7L Dyno Jet numbers using 5th gear.
Great work on putting all of this together! For future reference, using 5th gear is recommended for 10-speeds (10R60). 7th is the 1:1, but you hit the speed limiter. This is the recommendation from from ZFG Racing.
Nice work on the install, but a full second 0-60 gain from and Intake and charge pipes is unlikely. Curious to know how you measured your 0-60 improvement?
Yet another 400 WHP Bronco to terrorize the streets 😜 Gotta keep those Wrangler 392’s in line.
Seriously though, such a blast to drive. Once you drive a Bronco with this much power it’s very hard to go back.
Can’t wait to see you ascend to the 500+ WHP club 💪
Installed the downpipes and had the tune adjusted to take advantage of them. Didn't see a huge drop in my 0-60 or 1/4 mile times, but there's definitely an improvement.
Also, I took a lot of video and notes for the downpipe install, so I plan to make a video on how to install them in the...
Thanks! I have the 3" CVF catback that comes with a resonator. I'm hoping after it breaks-in it shouldn't have any rasp.
Charge pipes should be available next month (2 weeks or so) They should be the most cost effective offering as well.
Brief update.
I just ordered a CV Fabrication downpipe. I have plans to do a before and after on the Dyno to show the gains with a tune adjusted for it and without. Also going to with a set of CV Fabrication charge pipes when they are released. After all of that, I think I'm done with the...
If you have a 2.7L. Turbos are much smaller, so the gains are not nearly as high.
