Agreed when the materials are mixed as in this metal to composite joint. If they were two compatible composite parts, a solvent weld would have been permanent. There’s actually a lot of glue used in body panel fabrication in vehicles now.

This hardtop design is just a total dumpster fire. The preschoolers who designed this should be punished and sent to bed with no supper.
