I hate that the 12v is in the center console, I'm having the same issue. Would be a pain to have to plug in there.

If there are 6 ends, it's the aux pre run wires. But you are probably missing the fuse panel and actual switches

Did this today, you can probably do it without removing the 3 nuts, but I eventually ended up removing the nuts. the silver box is still hooked to something at the front vehical side, I couldn't make it out. but removing the nuts allows enough play to get it hooked up.
