Was having to do some driveshaft work today on my bronco once I removed it I noticed a little red cap on each end of rezeppa joints. Could this possible be place to add grease? Just a thought. Any insight??

Got a picture? I don’t think I’ve ever seen any red caps on either of the driveshafts.

Interesting, guess I’ve just never really looked close enough at the end of it. You really shouldn’t need to add grease though, I think these are typically designed to be maintenance free

Be aware that you risk blowing those caps out because of thermal expansion if you put too much grease in there, (like a truck front hub if you over fill) then you’ve done way more harm than good. I’d be tempted to put a small shot of grease in there though.

Thank you, that is a very good point that I didn't even think about. Ill probably just install it as is. The joints feel fine, I dont believe the grease is necessary.

At least peek in there with a flashlight to make sure it’s still has clean grease inside.
