Ford performance tune Autostart no longer keeps value

After last upgrade my tune does not keep the autostart/stop feature as before, did anyone else experience this. Alternatively I also got broncbuster steering upgrade that is supposed to be preprogrammed separately and not interfere with the normal upgrade (even though normally that is connected), maybe it messed up my ability to tune

FP changed how this worked I think late in 2023? So if you update the ProCal, you lose your ASS (defeater). So far I've been able to keep mine, no updates.

ASS memory got removed when Rev Matching did mid-2024. If you still have the capability in your ProCal tune - then DO NOT update the tune, it will remove it. (Same goes for Rev Matching). You can uninstall and re-install the tune so long as you don't connect the ProCal box back to a computer and update the software over the internet.

If you have a 7MT and purchased prior to mid-2024 you can get a refund on the basis that Rev Matching was listed as a function of ProCal then. But they never advertised the ASS Memory (to my knowledge), so you can't really do that if you don't meet those criteria.

Sorry - the only way to really deal with ASS now is to get the Eliminator dongle, run Sport mode all the time, or refrain from eating at Taco Bell.

Yep same issue on new Procal. I bought it for the tune, then I used a Superchips FlashCal to defeat ASS and set a few other things that the Procal doesn’t have options for

Thanks for the heads up. I won’t update unless there are other improvements that outweigh the ass loss. I‘m running the v-6 auto.

Crazy enough the ASS-deletion was the main interest for my reflash... I was saddened when they suddenly took that away.
