That’s the new garbage lojack they try to sell you. They won’t spend a second pulling it out either even if you say no and pass on it. It’s pretty standard now all dealers are signing up with those companies offering garbage to try and boost profits on sales via aftermarket.
Yeah not only are they completely wrong, but you got straight up scammed. Dealers are complete idiots and your best "master tech" is no more than an oil change and parts swapping expert.
Yes when you enable them in the menu, it puts on the mirror and puddle lights at the same time. There are also buttons to manually turn on the side mirror lights alone next to the headlight dial. Those dont turn on the puddle lights with them though.
Only problem with that is the trans shift schedules you are missing. It will want to drop gears fast or skip 2nd and do the 1-3 all the time. The GOAT modes will at least manage the trans better than normal, but I do get what you're saying. Aside from sand, I did appreciate the long sandy...
Im sure there's a chart out there that lays out all the modes and what they do. To me it felt more intuitive to slow to medium speed offroading. It would hold gears but not too long to where it was wringing out the engine. And the throttle pedal felt good. Not to sensitive and not a fluffy...
Obviously it depends on what terrain you are wheeling in, but I found one mode in particular that I really like. Sand mode.
For some reason Sand mode seems to check all the boxes in terms of throttle response, trans shift schedules and 4wd management. I was out this last weekend in a mixture...
So did you bring in the bronco with the top installed to actually show them the broken part in place? If not, thats where this gets tricky. For the dealer to get the warranty approval, they will need pictures to submit for engineering purposes. This is very important on new lines of vehicles...
This is what happens when you deviate from the normal process and try to take matters into your own hands. You should have brought the vehicle in with the damaged part and let the dealer do their diagnosis and order the warranty part.
At that point any normal dealer would have had you take...
Its crazy. Got my special order that someone canceled from 23 BL sas loaded with 360 cam and many other options for $4k off sticker. No dealers fees or mark ups or accessory packages. Just straight up great deal. Bill Currie Ford Tampa.
In theory this would be correct but in actual practice it’s not. I’ve seen the effects of running e free 90 vs 87 and 91. Specifically here in my use case, the e free fuel always made less power while picking up knock first. And remember again your stoich is 14.08. E free would be 14.70. So...
I mean lets just google that for you then. Took 5ish seconds. Truth is, adding the ethanol will always increase effective octane based on simple preignition resistance. If you see spark knock with 88 e0, depending on how bad you might not see the same spark knock on e10 87. And if you blend...
Are you asking me to Google that for you? Because my vast experience in blended fuels and tuning fords apparently isn’t cutting it. You can google all that you need to support your position but I assure you I’ve blended, tuned and raced current gen ford vehicles in just about any octane or...
Yes this is correct. Except this is not a flex fuel vehicle and not changing its own stoich on the fly. The fuel trims will compensate but why do that? You’re running e0 for nothing. The fuel trims are going to be taking away fuel all the time then compensating. And you’re losing the knock...
