I've had the differential cover installed about a year now and have had no issues. I'm in south Louisiana though. No salty roads here.

I used hardware he recommended as well.Mine looks good so far. I used bolts @CarbonSteel had recommended so not the FP hardware.
Did you just paint over the powdercoat that was on it? Or did you strip it all off first?

Since I got a replacement from FP, I’m trying to make sure it doesn’t start rusting out again.
Although living in the Midwest, I’m not sure that’s possible![]()
Yeah I washed it down with a grease remover, sanded it with 600, painted over the existing paint.@broadicustomworks painted it but I think he just did a basic prep to spray over as opposed to fully stripping it.
mine looked exactly like this within a month of installation. I primed and painted it with Ford Silver paint. It looks great for the time being lolMine started chipping more

Also, fwiw, I emailed FP about and they are sending a replacement (might just get that new one powder coated from the start)
