The one you purchased only protects the front of the hood, it does not have the deflector bump. There is a different one that provides that feature.

2.7 was my main no-budge option. Mine has JB4 now and I love it.

Personally I use the Dongar dongle for my dash cam. Pigtail that plugs into the rear view power.

Very likely possibility! I had this happen with my Subaru once. Coil went bad. I started my car and heard a clicking sound. Popped the hood and saw it arcing. Immediately shut it off and proceeded with replacing wires & coils. Certainly could cause a fire.

The blend date is at the top & shows Feb 17, 2023. That CAN be off, but I would think only by a few days at best (mine is off by 4 days). That is the date the body met the frame.
