First highway trip 11.9 mpg!!!

Few days old , 300 miles on it. Did a 150 mile trip. All highway 76 mph. Got 11.9 mpg

im guessing dealer filled it with 87 octane and winds were somewhat strong. But I had hoped for 15mpg +

Anything over 70 is going to be a deterrent for MPGs. Especially with 37s.

I’d say give it 500 miles to “break in”. I started getting better mileage once fluids break down a bit and everything settles.

These are EcoBoost engines. Want Eco? Keep it out of Boost. Over 70, and you'll see the fuel economy take a hit.

Best advice, don't mind the MPG. Fill it when it needs it and enjoy the drive.

93 won't do anything different.

And yeah, even on my OBX--the 2.7--over 65 really brings it down. The faster the go needle goes, the faster the juice needle goes.

I get 9 mpg on 91 oct (going downhill with a strong tailwind). Enjoy your 11.9

Similar situation with my Braptor, but it got up to 17mpg with 93 octane and over ~450 miles on it. I also had a feeling the dealer put in 87 before I left the lot.

My 10,000lb Chevy 3500 cube van 6.2 liter gets 12.5 mpg city with 0 effort towards mpg.

I own a hellcat and gt500. Both do better. Gt500 gets 24mpg on long trips

it’s a $90,000 bronco. Obviously I can afford whatever it is. Just shocking for a 3.0 v6

ford should have done a v8. We’d be doing better w performance and mileage.

I don’t have a Braptor, but I do run 37s, and I feel blessed and like I won the lottery if I hit 14 mpg

I'm generally close to 20. But I did a trip out to Moab with some severe wind and it dropped me to about 13.

Complaining about fuel mileage isn't a money thing it's an old people thing.
My dad has, well, let's just say more than enough money and he still complains about fuel economy.
Once you hit a certain age I think it becomes a mandatory part of your vocabulary.

No it’s not, you young whipersnapper. I’m older, and I bought my F150 Raptor and Bronco knowing roughly what they got mpg wise. My gf takes great pleasure in telling me her SUV gets 40+’mpg, and I tell her that’s why you get to drive everywhere else except Baja
