I'm averaging about 17.8 mpg on my daily commute with the cruise on 75 - and the occasional pedal mash to get around some lane constipation. Pretty impressed with this. FWIW, I'm at 3500 miles and have been beating it like a rented mule at some off-road sights on the weekends. Also, FR3 was added at a 2500 mile initial oil change and not sure if it is assisting the increased MPGs but it certainly has improved it on my other trucks. Maybe I lucked out and bagged a unicorn Braptor??!! ;)

I'll say. Typically, I'm hovering around high 12's to low 14's. Highest I've seen was 18 mpg recently when I hopped off the highway, filled the tank, reset the trip meter and hopped right back on the highway for 80 miles. That's cruising at 70. I'm at about 15mpg currently. I've not done the actual math after filing up but it'd be a good idea to see how accurate/inaccurate the mileage gauge really is.

I did a trip from San Antonio to Houston with the entire top off just for shits and giggles. Had decent mileage there but averaged 12mpg on the way back. I keep the tires inflated at 38psi.

Maybe I need to get on it more and get those rings sealed. I'm the second owner and I have evidence it was driven gently in those first 10K miles.

Are you running 93? I definitely see slightly better gas mileage with premium vs. regular.

I averaged 17.9 mph during the first 7K with my Braptor. I attribute that to the topography I drove and the driving habits and cruise control and start/stop. With the availability of the Cali legal Ford Performance tune that I just installed, I will be tracking mpg to see if the tune and mandatory 91 fuel has an impact and if so whether it is positive or negative.

So much is happening in the economic realm, foreign & domestic (tariffs, all that).

I'm hoping that somewhere, somehow, somebody will take a real, hard look at ethanol and see that it is not the economic or environmental boon it was supposed to be, and figure a way to choke that boondoggle to death.

PA stations might be moving to Summer Blend fuels about now too, I typically get about .4 to .8mpg better mileage on summer blends.

17.8?!?! I am excited if I see 13.8 when I refuel. It’s usually closer to 12.8. Unicorn Braptor indeed! (or, maybe they installed the 2.7 instead of the 3.0L motor)

This!! I'm around 13.8. My f350 with 38's and 5 inch lift gets around 14.4

What tire pressure are you using.

40 psi with premium fuel. My commute is US 22/I-78 from Easton, PA to Hamburg, PA. Some long uphill grades followed by downhill slopes. It's been steadily increasing and I do attribute some of this to wailing on it now and again as I could really see an improvement after the first of several uphill, forest road high speed runs in 4A and 4H. I’ll update in a month or so to see if this level of economy continues. Yah - so far, I’m pretty stoked about it. I mean, it’s not like any of us buy a Braptor for fuel economy but this is a pleasant surprise. Hell - my JKUR only gets 18.

24 Badlands with 2.7. First 10 months I was getting 18 mpg. For the last 2 months I’m getting better than 20 mpg. No idea what changed.

I remember I got 17.5mpg headed home from the dealer on my 5 hour drive. That was the last time I got over 14mpg and that was 35k miles ago.

2023 BL 2.7 4d, HT, non SAS. Factory roof rack. Been driving it a year and 9-months. I don’t baby it by any stretch.
17.8 mpg by the computer. 18.1 mpg calculating it the old fashioned way.
I am happy with either number

With all this talk about MPG, may I suggest you look into the Fuelio phone app? You can enter your fuel, price, and mileage in and it will give you precise mpg calculations, plus let you track costs, gallons used, average mpg, etc. accurately. Allows for multiple vehicles. And what I like: cost per mile! When I noticed that some fuelings were costing me $.20/mile, it got me to thinking about, "Do I really need to make this trip to the Big Box store, or can I combine that with another trip later?" "I gotta make sure I exit right--U-turning at the next exit is going to cost me several bucks," etc.

Nice - Cabela’s is right there. Hope it hasn’t changed much since BassPro took over.

Closing on first 1,000 miles on my ā€˜24 BRaptor.
Was getting 14-15mpg but now regularly 16.5-16.8 on premium at 70-80mph on GSP (which is relatively flat with a few dips and rises).

Pretty much the same with my ā€˜22 Badlands Sasquatch w minor lift, wheel spacers and same 37ā€ KO2s.

Both vehicles with Ford ProCal performance install.
