Just started getting this notice... is good due to recent update? Now o can't listen to the radio when vehicle is off

Dashboard display has this message.

Modern vehicles have a battery management controller (called the BMS in Fords) that monitors the voltage and current utilization of the battery. If the battery charge is too low it'll start turning off features, such as accessory mode, the FordPass mobile application features, Auto Start/Stop, etc. to ensure you can reliably start the vehicle and don't get stranded.

If you live in a colder environment this will likely happen more often, colder temperatures are rough on batteries. If you want to continue using the accessories without the vehicle running need a battery tender.

My bronco doesn’t do this but my F450 has done it since day 1 with 7 miles on it. Ford checked batteries and nothing.

I've also noticed when I open my door my interior lights dont come on.

My wife’s Lincoln Navigator (2019) started doing this a couple weeks ago. Changed out the battery and no further issues. Same battery as the Bronco.

There we go. Out to get a coffee and the Bronco won't start. 1 year old and the battery is failing.
Getting a jump from a Honda - horrible.
I'll stop by the dealer. It should be covered.

The original battery in a conventional Ford vehicle will be covered by their New Vehicle Limited Warranty for three years or 36,000 miles—whichever comes first. Ford Hybrid batteries will be covered for eight years or 100,000 miles.

I carry a jump pack, works great. I think it was like 45$.
They'll should test the alternator too, make sure they do

I want to say i have this one, it's small and has a case. Works well. So well i bought one for my dad. He had to use it twice the past year and he said it worked great as well for him.

I had a battery dying on my previous car. Self jumped it twice to get to napa for a new battery

I also carry jump cables in my car, but this is a lot easier, plus can use alone.

I have fordpass and AAA as well, but this is so much faster

You are responsible for keeping it charged, but mine holds the charge really well. So maybe top up quarterly and after use.

I also use a battery tender during cold snaps and there are days i just don't drive so I'll hook it up.

I get pretty far on lead acid batteries. Best thing health wise for them is to keep them charged up(but not overcharged)

If your battery goes dead the Auto Up Window feature won't work and needs reset.
