My 24 wildtrak sits on a tender as I mod it. The tender is hooked downstream of the BMS, battery is like 12.7-13v. I think this low power mode is triggered by a countdown clock. If vehicle isn’t driven and completes a closed loop it triggers this.
The Bronco may have a countdown clock also, but I keep mine on a tender if it is going to sit for more than a couple days and when I drove 60 miles to the dealership to leave it for my replacement mic top I received the notice in FordPass the next morning that it had went into battery saving mode. I think I got about 5 notices over the 3 weeks it sat there. It was still giving me the mssg on the infotainment screen when I picked it up and the next morning so I did the BMS reset before I read this thread not to. I searched the forum on resetting the BMS and this thread did not show up,lol. It's been fine for the last couple days though.

With all the modules and other parasitic draw these newer vehicles have proper charging is crucial to system stability and longevity. Neither my 20 F350 or my 24 Bronco are driven daily so they sit for days at a time. I wired both of them with NOCO plugs and each gets a NOCO Genius 10. Its important when charging that the incoming NEG current is DOWNSTREAM of the NEG terminal battery sensor or the BMS won't register any change to battery_state_of_charge.

Brian - FordTechMakuloco has an awesome video covering this Ford BMS Battery Monitoring

In this video the FDRS is being used to show the real time state of charge, amps (in or out), time (days) since last BMS reset, etc.

Is this sort of data available in Forscan? I know you can tweak the state of charge %, but I'm wanting to see my current state of charge as well as days since last reset. I replaced my battery about a month ago but I'm wondering if it was actually reset due to 1) the silly rub tummy/pat head manual reset procedure & 2) my gauge indicates relatively high voltage for 20/30 minutes after starting vehical
