Well, my 1 week morphed into 2 on my buddy's lift, but I got er done. Very happy with the results (also did flat tow wiring and adapter install too). Much more soldering than I anticipated, but there it is. Thanks again for all of the support!A lift makes it so much easier, you can pull the wheel and liner easily, and work comfortably that way! I can't imagine doing that wiring on jackstands, Your neck would be sore after 30 minutes
I just finished my 3 pod light install. I used the factory harness from Diode Dynamics with the relay for the off road lights. I took Zuke's advice and wired in the fog lights to the ford wiring after replacing my factory switch. When I turn on the 3 way switch that came with the 3 pod light set, all lights come on (I assume through the relay system). The switch allows for all lights on in one position, or back lights on in the other. When I use the factory switch, only the fog lights are on. No burning smells

I am having the same issue, no power. What should we expect with a volt meter when the factory fog switch is on?
Battery voltage, 12.5 or so volts
That is what I thought I am getting nothing. Is it possible that the settings in forscan module for 2023 changed ?
It is possible, although I haven't heard of any changes..
looking for this too, do you have the front factory harness? If so can you test out voltage your are getting and share changes you made in forscan.
No front harness, I'm tapping the front at C203. Sorry, not sure how to help and don't want to create noise by speculating.
BCM needed to be switched on for the fog lights to work. Need to do that in Forescan. Once that was added, the fog light switch and lights worked perfectly.
Good info, thanks for sharing. I have the CC model of the dual fog switch. I think the BCM coding 0303 may be why I was not detecting power. I am going to check this today.Here are a few extra steps for those with rear fogs too:
I installed the Front/Rear Switch today and used steps described in this post to activate in FORScan.
In addition to the BdyCM steps in that thread, I needed to Enable the rear fog lamps, DRL Fog, fog with highbeam, rear fog with trailer and a few others in the BdyCM since I also had the rear fog and wanted to use the fogs with DRL.
I also Enabled rear fog in IPC.
In BdyCM Instead of the '0101' config, I went with '0303' which lets me use the fog with DRL and turns on the respective side when cornering.
Everything works exactly as it should on the dash but I still need to install my lights.
With these changes, both the Rear and Front fogs will operate with only the DRL which is the best option for dusty and snowy situations where you ONLY want yellow lights.
Note that the rear fog (which I'll use as a trail light) works with DRL on only if the front fogs are also on.
Any luck on this? Having the same issue, not sure where I need to make changes.
yes for the front fog, I finally did get power to the factory fog harnesss by changing the coding to what nwGTS reported, using 0303. I knew it was going to work right away because I got open circuit DTCs for the front and back fog lights.
