Well, I'm a jackass.
just an FYI, if you're looking at the Ford Performance Raptor Skidplate kit, it's a hard pass, this g-out wouldn't have taken the rack out if it wasn't for the bracket they included to act like a cantilever pushing itself into the rack. the skid plate didn't break, the bracket just took the edge of it and bent it inwards. it's a ton of leverage for a bolt that long.

I know I either need FDRS or the Procal to reprogram the PSCM in the new rack, but does anyone know if the Procal will reprogram the PSCM on a already HOSS 3.0 equipped truck?

No, the procal only works for the accessory steering rack

You need FDRS and just to program the rack. Since it was factory, Ford software should work just fine. 2-3 hours to install, program and then an alignment.

Correct. The FP steering rack upgrade wasn't designed for a vehicle that already came with it from the factory. You just need FDRS.

The FP rack upgrade kit is only for the following vehicles:

• 2021-2024 2Dr Bronco (all models) are compatible
• 2021-2024 4Dr Bronco (all models) with Sasquatch package
• 2024-2026 4Dr Bronco Non Sasquatch (including Badlands)
• 2021-2022.5 4Dr Bronco Wildtrak® (without HOSS3.0) Package
• 2025-2026 2Dr Bronco (non Sasquatch)
• 2025-2026 4Dr Bronco (non sasquatch)

Edit: Actually now that I look at that list, maybe it will work.
Because it shows 24-26 4Dr non-sasquatch including badlands, and a non-sasquatch badlands would already have the 3.0 rack. Unless that is just a mistake

I'm certain the physical rack will work, I've used both the FP Rack and the Stock 3.0 Replacement rack interchangeably with FDRS. At least in what I see on line right now, The FP Kit is actually cheaper than an off the shelf replacement rack, So I've switched over to those.

I'm not so sure the ProCal is gonna be able to program a rack in a vehicle that already has the 3.0 though. It ought to be able to, but until someone actually does it, I'm gonna remain skeptical.

I have two unused ProCal vouchers if someone wants to try it
