As expected, the door pocket nets in my 22 have failed.

Who do we like for a door pocket that doesn't stick out so far as to jab your leg? Mountains 2 Metal?

I just installed these. Like them a lot. Kind of pricey but don’t get in the way or hit my leg. You can even slide big Yeti cup into it w/o problem.

If you take out the doors, you dont have to worry about the door pockets anymore. Hope that helps!
It's already over 100 degrees. Already too late to take down the T-tops. So... that's a big nope.

I like the Bartac bags, but they install with velcro. Adhesives fail badly in Phoenix. They do look just the right size for a 1911 though.

They bolt in using the factory mounting holes. I have one on my drivers side and absolutely love it.

If you take your doors off with a hard door pocket you could scratch up your paint or interior door panels. Just something to consideration.

The Bartact ones are interesting. I was unaware how they mounted.

Another vote for the Bartact bags, I have them for the driver and front passenger, very well made and yes they bolt on, lots of room, do not get in the way, I really like them

I bought a set of the full plastic ones that had a rubber inner skin. I just mounted the rubber inner skin and left the hard plastic off. The rubber is nice, it’s thick well made and is every bit as stout as the plastic when it comes to holding stuff. The benefit to me is it gives when my leg presses against it and it will not get in the way or scratch the other door when removing them. I get the full storage size of a hard pocket with the benefit of it not being annoying if my leg rests against it while driving.

I have the M2M in my Bronco. They are, like everything I have from M2M, excellent.

I have the DV8 in my JK Rubicon. They are good, but the level of quality is just a bit shy of the M2M pieces.

I have American Adventure lab which are metal molle panels that are currently completely flush. Then I attached a soft molle bottle holder to the outside. If I need an extra bottle spot, it's there. Otherwise it's flattened and not sticking out

Like @Ducati1098 said, they bolt in and a Sig P365 fits perfectly! Plenty room for a 1911 as well.
