It is now March practically and it is still sitting in the same spot since Dec17th
In this life @Jackiecoop8 , sometimes you have to push, confront, fight, and hire lawyers - facing the fact that your not going to come out "ahead" in certain situations, either monetarily or time/hassle.
Our friend @Ducati1098 will beg to differ, but your experience about par for the course. Most dealers are poorly run organizations that are nevertheless cash cows for their owners for several reasons (e.g. state franchise laws, strong lobbies at the state level, etc.). The incentives are all wrong, and while there are plenty of bad local shops they don't have the perverted incentive structure of dealerships.
Hire a lawyer and start that process, in the end your probably in small claims range anyways so just realize your not going to be made $whole$ and that is 'ok'. Get your vehicle towed to a local repair shop (ask friends and neighbors for recommendations) and get it repaired right - don't let it sit on a dealers lot for more than 2 days ever (excepting the most extreme circumstance which this is not). Avoid routine service at any dealership, even if it is "free" because in truth there is no such thing as a free lunch.
If you continue to do the same thing your are now you could get lucky, but just as likely you will be posting here 4 weeks from now with another non-update...
