Recently I upgraded to 6112's. The 6112 kit was on sale and I got it for $1400 delivered. I had a local tire shop I have used for years do the install and alignment for $770. I had them reuse the factory top mount, insulator and bumpstops-which despite all the erroneous information out there are the same bumpstops that come with the Sasquatch package. My Badlands only had 6K miles, all street/highway, so the factory parts were not that used. The total for the 6112's, installation , and alignment was $2170. I have seen just the assembled 6112 coilovers themselves going for more than I paid for all the parts, the install, and the alignment. I also have the factory ESCV shocks and springs for sale so whatever I get out of them will go to decrease the total cost.

One other comment, when I was considering what shocks to go with I did consider the Eibachs and Icons. The Icons were ruled out early on because they have to be rebuilt every ~25K or so. The Eibachs seem to be a popular choice because people like the ability to adjust them, but how many adjustments are you actually going to make? I mean once you have them set, do you plan to tweek it everyday?

I looked at it a different way. I wanted to get my monies worth so I had the shop put the 6112's front and back on the highest level which is where it is now. I have a Summit Bumper and a Warn winch sitting in the garage which will go on in a week or two. I also have a set of RCI Rock Sliders on order that will add some weight. I have no plans to adjust the fronts down, but I may consider dropping the rear a slot or two depending on how much the front settles with the added weight. I like the way it sits now so I may not even change the rears unless there is a substantial drop. So being able to adjust the coilovers was not a big consideration. What was a major consideration was the 6100/6112's are a bigger 2.6 shock with a larger piston and oil capacity than the smaller 2.0's. Even if I have to remove the rears, disassemble them to adjust the level, and reinstall them it will be worth it to me to have a better stronger shock.

First two photos below are with the factory Bilstein ESVC shocks and the second two are after the 6112 install. Based on my measurements I saw a 2.25" increase all around with the circlip in the 6th (max) position.
So, I am in a similar situation, but I went with the Eibach's for a number of reasons.

First is the ability to fully dial in each corner instead of having only 4 choices, I get infinite adjustability, which I will rarely need to change but allows me a great deal more precision in getting the exact right height and rake that I want. It's not about changing them frequently, it's about the infinite adjustability.

Second was the price, I paid $900 for the set of 4 with everything including springs. Installation will be free, and the alignment is sub $200.

Finally, if I remember correctly, the Eibach's have a million miles warranty. I rather like that. The 6112 may be superior with regard to running more unsprung weight, but I don't have experience with the 6112s or the Eibach's (yet).

Hopefully I will be happy with my budget suspension setup.

Eibach Pro Truck 2.0 struts ($900)
Adjustable rear track bar ($150)
Trackbar relocation bracket ($150)
Zone UCAs ($300)
Front diff drop ($120)

That’s about $1620 plus alignment all in.

why doesn't anyone mention with the SAS package you get the HOSS steering upgrade-- that certainly is a must have
Because it didn't happen until 2024.

Have no qualms with the OP's rationale for going with a non-SAS Badlands vs. a SAS Badlands. If he/she's happy that's all that matters.

There was an implied trust in Ford when we decided to purchase a Bronco Badlands. Felt no need to suddenly quit trusting Ford when we considered the SAS option. We wanted the look, plus the guarantee we got all the engineering tricks and treats (known or unknown) that Ford may or may not have used to support the SAS package. Money well spent for us--we're happy.

Gears and even bigger negative is the lack of warranty on anything connected to the changes. Trans goes they are going to say you added bigger tires. Your going to say there the same size as the sasquatch package. Ford lawyer-"You didn't buy the Sasquatch Package". Case closed.

Ford Performance 3.0 rack upgrade $1100.

Free installation if I do it myself.

Not for everyone. Agreed.

I went non-SAS on my ‘22 when SAS wasn’t much more. Didn’t like the SAS wheels or tires. I now want the 35” look after my KO2s are pretty well worn. That means:

1. Ready Lift modified crash bars
2. Zone 1” level
3. Rough Country brake light extender
4. 35” X 11.5” Wildpeak AT4Ws

No need to add spacers with the 11.5” width. I might change wheels at some point. If so, I’ll probably add some poke which could open me up for wider tires if I want further down the road. Leaving off the tires which is a wear item, this is pretty cheap. Plan to do before next spring. Tires will have 25-30k on them. Some life left I guess. If you want to do this for sure, can do a quick take-off and sell the new KO2s.

SAS is also great. Personal preference. The 33s look fine as well and plenty performance for almost everyone. My one ding is KO2s are pretty bad in the rain. Better rain tire was my #1 goal and the AT4Ws are supposedly excellent.

Despite doing my test drive in a 2.7 Sas (and liking it more than I thought), I went with a 2.3 non-Sas BB because the package is way overkill for my needs. It's also 8-10k CAD depending on if you get the beadlock wheels or not. However, I did option the 4.27 rear locker because I know adding that later is painfully expensive aftermarket, and will be doing 33s with a level.

Good enough for me for the conditions I will have to deal with and the things I want to do.

It’s my plan if I ever run into issues. But im not replacing it until I need to.

Same thing with the whole shock issue. I’ll replace mine if they fail.

I'm probably in the minority (on this forum, but probably not outside of it, based on what strangers say) in thinking that the non-SAS BL is better looking than the SAS BL. No doubt, it performs virtually the same all things considered.
