It looks really close to me. I wonder if you can order just those.

From what I have seen, it should be an easy swap. I found the diagram in one of the dealerships parts catalogs. Looks like it is Item 20. You will need to order left and right. However, personally I would wait until the parts are more common. The parts are $70 each and it seems a bit pricey.
I would pay that much for a machined one, but for a casting is too much.

The capable bumper and the modular bumper share the same skid plates. So based on what this guy did, I do not think it will be an easy bolt-on. The guy had to cut some brackets from the frame


One of my projects in the next few weeks will be to design a custom bracket for a Warn winch that can be mounted hopefully without removing brackets. It will also need a custom skid plate. But it will be huge if I can avoid having to cut parts from the frame.

Following to see how the project turns out.

Yes!
In fact I could not wait and just got it done. I was not that careful masking around it and got a bit of flash on the inside bracket of the bumper. But when I snap the covers back on, it will not be visible. At the end, I decided to go with silver paint, like the Bronco concept. In black they go completely unoticed, but in silver they really pop and they match the Bronco letters.

I had not considered painting the mount brackets as well, just the rings. But that looks good.

Oh, meaning those original photos released when the Bronco was announced? My BD grill is obviously black...but, yea, I should throw that consideration in there too...a color to match the MIC gray....

I cleaned the surface with alcohol. But the surface was already pretty rough (material is a casting). So far it seems the paint is sticking on. But rubbing it with a Scotch Brite to improve adhesion will not hurt.

I used Duplicolor Engine Enamel paint. I just cleaned the shackles and base prior to painting. The surface is pretty rough from factory, so I figured the paint should not have problems sticking.

I could probably have done a better job painting, but I see it as a short term finish. If you really want a good durable finish the best way would be to remove the base and shackle and get them powder coated.
But mine so far are holding up.

I finally took delivery. I was noticing on the shackle itself the hinge has a little tiny rubber grommet on each side. Wondering if paint or powder coating would mess that up in any way.
