I have the OE Plus and left the factory tow loops on. I like having 4 recovery points. I also did the 4 x Elite Pods. They are insanely bright and the beam pattern is super-spread. Just an FYI.

Installation was super easy too. It only took an hour, maybe.

It looks great! Was it hard to install the Elite pods? Did you do the DV8 mto for your back bumper? Thank you.

omg! Thank you so much!!! I was so bummed when i talked to dv8 and they told me i had to cut off my tow loops

were you able to plug those lights into your factory fog plug?
If you use any aftermarket skid plate, except maybe the Asfir one, you will need to cut off the loops. I kept the plastic one, so I didn't have to.

The lights required a H11 to double-Deutsche DT Y adapter, which I got here: https://store.ijdmtoy.com/products/wirng-harness-adapter-aa1294 Installation was easy and it's nice using the factory fog switch. I've had them on for almost a year and there are no issues.

The lights were easy. See my previous post with a link to the adapter harness. I did not do the rear bumper, but may get their MTO eventually, as it is a nice match.

Do you have SAS? How does it align with the SAS flares? Thanks

I do not. I don't have my Bronco today, but IIRC, it kind of tapers back and ends where the flares start, in a natural looking way. I think would be fine with the wider flares.

This is great. Thank you so much. Given what you said I think I will keep the existing skip plate.

If I add two of the light pods on each side, the way you did, do I need two of the adapters?

And when you mentioned that the pods are insanely bright, do you mean they're too bright? Are they obnoxious for oncoming cars?

Thank you again!

Yes, buy two adapters. The factory fog harness has 2 x H11 outputs (one per side), and you need 4 DT plugs in total.

Yes, IMO they are too bright to be roadworthy. I added 2 layers of yellow film, aimed them as down and inward, and they are better, but they still light up my whole neighborhood! They are great for trails at night. I guess it will really depend on your intended use. I have never, despite always having them, used fog lights on the road, in any of the cars I've had.

If I remember, I'll try to take a pic tonight from the front, with them on.

Was talking to someone here who put on the DV8 oe series and left the factory tow hooks on. They are under the bumper. I think I will swap out my plastic front and back bumpers for the DV8's after the holidays.
I thought the issue was capable mounts differently than plastic or modular...

Thank you so much. I really appreciate all of your help. And by the way, the background in your picture is incredible. I guess that's just a normal backyard in BC!.

Yeah, that's a well-traveled 4x4 spot about an hour from home. We have lots of scenery like that...now, if only gas, food and housing weren't so expensive!

I did the drive from Vancouver to Whistler and back years ago. It was amazing. Vancouver seems like a great place to live.
