DV8..any chance if you making longer end pieces that align better with SAS equipped vehicles? The MOD ford bumper is only offered with SAS I believe as it aligns with the width of the flares. I know you are covering all trim lines but a longer version couldn’t be so too much to make maybe?

Howdy,
I have SAS and installed the DV8 MTO bumper with SAS fenders a few days ago. I think it looks great/balanced! Just got back from some off-roading and my wildtrak is covered in mud - will upload some pics after I rinse it off a bit tomorrow.

also - wrt skid plates… I just went through this with both the stock and the dv8 skid plates. I can confirm with certainty that yes the MTO bumper works fine with the stock ford skid plate. And that yes, you have to cut off the stock tow hooks off if you are going to use the dv8 skid plate. However, cutting off the stock tow hooks is super easy. Took me maybe ten minutes tops using a saws-all with a metal-cutting blade. The stock tow hooks are actually not welded to the frame - they are bolted on - but the assembly also contains two threaded holes that the dv8 plate bolts into. If sometime in the future you wanted to go back to the stock plate, you can always pop new tow hooks in there, no welding required.

Forward camera, parking sensors, and adaptive cruise all work just fine with the new bumper (after using the dv8 sensor relocation kit). I wired two of their elite pod lights into an aux switch instead of the stock harness, because I would rather they stay on when my high beams are on.

big Item to note if you are considering the dv8 skid plate!!!! Unlike the stock ford skid plate, you cannot simply decide to upgrade your skid plate at some point in the future after installing your new bumper, at least not without a helluva lot of hassle. The mto Bumper bolts pass through the upper skid plate, so you want to do them both at once!!!

another big item to note if you are considering the dv8 skid plate with the dv8 MTO bumper!!!! its already been noted in the blogs that it is difficult to deal with the mounting bolts for this bumper. i Will tell you that it is absolutely freaking impossible to fully install ANY of the bumper mounting bolts, nuts, and washers with the dv8 skid plate in place!! And again, you cannot do them separately! what I ended up doing actually worked quite well, but it does not follow their instructions. Dv8 says to install the bolts from front to back, so that the nuts are in the back. I finally gave up and ran them through the other direction, from back to front, and I inserted all of the bolts first, holding them in place with duct tape, and then slid the bumper over the protruding bolt holes. It was easy to reach into the bumper to then attach the washers and nuts from the front. I have the dv8 12,000 lb winch in the bumper, and the winch clears all of the bolts when they are inserted in this manner.

I also added the dv8 crash bar covers to round out the package. That was a super easy bolt-on affair.

I’m super super super pleased with the result, and highly recommend.

I see what you mean. Thanks.
BVan604 I just ordered the DV8 OE Front series bumper with the same elite light pods as yours and two of the adapters you recommended. Also ordered the DV8 FS 15 Series rear bumper with light pods. Thanks for your help. I'll post some pictures once I get it all installed.

Apologies for the delayed response. Also note that I take crappy pictures, which I try to compensate with quantity…. Still trying to figure out what to do with the front license plate. Shackle-mount blocked the parking sensors.

Wow. Your Bronco and the bumper look great. Thanks for posting your pics. They look awfully good to me. I'm installing front and rear DV8 bumpers and lights this week. I'll post pictures when I'm done.

I had the DV8 OE series front bumper and FS-15 Series rear bumper and the DV8 Elite fog lights and flush pods installed this week. I considered trying it myself, but with the wiring required in back, thought it was beyond my meager skill level. BVan604 we used the adapters you suggested and they were great.

Last night I tried out the fog lights when there was no oncoming traffic. They lit up my entire neighborhood. And the flush pods on the back are connected to my auxiliary switches, so at least now I'm using one of the six.

Here are a few pictures. I'm really happy with how it turned out.

Any issues transferring the front/rear sensors?

My Bronco is a '21 seven speed manual transmission. To get the manual, back then at least, I had to get the base package. So I don't have any sensors in the bumpers.

Sorry I didn't look close enough, I assume those are the plugs they provide.

Looks good, I am looking into the FS-15 rear bumper myself.

Yes, those are their plugs. You raise good point though. I do have a pre collision warning system that has come on a few times when I've had to stop suddenly in traffic. I'm not sure if its sensor is in the front bumper or the grill. As I mentioned, I didn't do the work myself and this is a good example of why. If we dont get an answer here, I'll ask the mechanic I used on Monday.
