My Jeep didn’t count the milage when it was being towed. It appears the bronco does. Any chance that can be disabled? Perhaps through Forscan!

when you've got a new kid on the excavator, as part of his training tell him he has to count the revolutions he makes--because he'll have to go backwards that many at the end of the day to undo things.Tow it backwards on the return trip.
You might want to check out the transmission, unless it's a manual. My Jeep didn’t count the milage when it was being towed. It appears the bronco does. Any chance that can be disabled? Perhaps through Forscan!
Dang you beat me to it, lol.
Same hereDang you beat me to it, lol.
you know, that's a good point.Aaand this is why it's a terrible idea to buy a used vehicle.
It's actually insane that it's legal for manufactures to disable the odometer while towing.
It's illegal to roll back an odometer for a sale but somehow totally fine to sell a vehicle with 10 thousand hidden miles?
I wouldn’t have a problem with that. As long as it separates driven miles from towed miles. I also want to know off-road miles while we’re at it.you know, that's a good point.
Such a system should be able to document flat-towed miles.
